I am sensative to anything below a G.

Comparing Diamond Colors Face Up:
My ring is an H. That is the lowest recommended for an Emerald Cut, because the shape allows you to see color and inclusions very easily.
If you have your stone set in yellow or rose gold, you can usually go with a stone with more color, because the yellow/rose metal makes the yellow in the stone less noticable.
Mine was SO’s grandmother’s (so no papers) but the jewler said it was likely a G. I don’t see any tint at all and believe me, I do look for it, especially after that was the guess from the jeweler! My ring:
My 1.18 carat center stone is J and that is considered near-colorless.
OH HELLO, never posted about this post! Sorry lol My e-ring is a G, 1.04 ct
Mine is J-K (maybe a little lower even. I sacrificed color for size…an unpopular decision, I know, but it was what I wanted 🙂 I love the warmth it has…it changes color in different lighting and I like that.It has a lot of “personality” to me 🙂 I have notnoticed yellow much….in certain light a bit…but I do notice a gray color sometimes, which I actually like. I call hermy Smokey ring, as my dearest pony ever (RIP) was a grey pony named smokey.
Baby is an I color. Here she is taking her nap (lol, someone 5150 me ugh)
I think if you are color sensitive and want white then stay in the colorless range. I initially had a G , and although I thought it was really white I think for someone else that really wants a white stone may think there was color In it. My G was also poor clairity and although there were no visible inclusions, it was very cloudy. I ended up going from a G to a J , but an I1 to a VS1 and couldn’t be more pleased with the decision.
This is my “D” coloured ring! Lovely rings ladies! I could spend hours looking at them!!!
