My centre stone is F-coloured.

I tend to only really notice the colour after I but my fiancé felt he could see a tinge before then so we went for a colourless diamond.

If I was wearing yellow gold, for instance, I’d probably opt for a J or K as the yellow gold would look really pretty with the warmer stone. It just depends if you like the warmth or not!

@Hot_Sauce:  I love your e-ring band!  What’s your wedding band going to look like?

Lovely rings, ladies!

I personally appreciate all colors in diamonds….as long as they are CLEAN and well-cut (for ME, the stone has got to be VVS). My engagement diamond is an “E” color. I do find it a bit “too cold” while set in whit gold…can any bees relate to this?…or I’m insane?

I wouldn’t mind getting a “low color” range diamond…like say U-Z…for that light yellow diamond look…I actually would prefer that than the actual fancy canary/vivid yellow color…just me of course.

My center is E color and the ones around it are E-F I think.

Oh and I can’t really tell so as long as it isn’t too yellow I would have been happy lol

@ceebree:  Here you go!

You can’t see any color in this pic (by design) and this is how it usually looks, but I do see it every now and then. My fiance can see it sometimes too.

Mine’s a J and wouldn’t change a thing. I don’t think I’m very color sensitive though.

Mine is a J in the center and it looks pretty white most of the time noone has commented on the stone color yet and Iv had it 3 weeks so I think only I can tell, and I can tell because it sits next to two stones that are whiter in color so thats why I notice

Mine is F but if I was wanted a bigger stone I wouldn’t go anything below G/H, personal preference

My center stone is a J and I love it.  It does have warmth in certain lights and sometimes from the side.  It is also bright white most of the time.  I love the color when I see it!

I have 2 diamonds.  My original e-ring diamond, a .40ct round, is K color and it is such a sparkly little fireball.  It’s now in a pendant.  I will have to take a pic when the sun is out again.

I also have a 1.5ct round family diamond that is a G or H.  I’ve had 2 different appraisals, one said G and the other said H.  It’s an I1 clarity and not a great cut, so it really doesn’t sparkle that much.

I prefer warmer diamonds and much prefer the K over the G.  But as everyone has said, color is such a personal choice.  I would love to get an ideal cut diamond (haha, not happening!) and would definitely go down to a K.

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  It is! I’ve seen your ring before, and I think yours is a larger version of mine.
