Hi Hive! I’m having some difficulty here. Attached is a photo of my dress. However, the dress I bought is in the color gold. It’s not really gold, just a little deeper than ivory- like a light champagne. My engagement and wedding rings are platinum. However, with the color of the dress on the ivory/cream side, I would think it would make sense to wear something with a gold tone versus silver. What do you think??? Do you need to match metals with your rings? Also the crystals on my dress and my diamonds are clear– what about using earrings, etc with colored crystals (champagne- attached photo)? HELP!!

If you really like that necklace I think it would be beautiful with your dress. And I think it’s ok to mix metals. If you ring is one metal and the rest of your jewelry is another metal I think it would be fine.

I agree with Lillindy- if you like the necklace, go for it.
my rings are platinum, but the pearl necklace and earrings I wore were set in yellow gold.
My cousin’s dress was a similar color- she wore platinum/white gold and it looked lovely.
So I don’t think you can go wrong! It’s a beautiful dress.

I think the necklace you chose is great. I’m wearing gold jelwery because my dress has accents of gold in it. I beleive that it would look better.

I am actually looking for a necklace like that — can you say where you got it?
And, my ring is white gold, my wedd jewelry is gold with peachy crystals, and my dress is gold with peach beading. Mix it up, girl. No one will remember your jewels but you, so YOU got to love them!

I am one of those weirdos who hates mixing metals. I think that white gold jewelry with the same color crystals as on your dress would look great!
