Right now our living room has beige walls, tan/taupe furniture with chocolate and green accents. I like it, I’m just bored.
We’ve only had it this way for a little less than a year but i feel like it needs more color…what color walls or color schemes in general would go with tan/taupe furniture?
I’m thinking of a very mute turquoise, which would go well with the chocolate accents, but Im not sure about the furniture.
I’m not attached to the curtains or other accents, I just cant get new furniture just yet as the furniture we have is pretty new.

I’m not an interior designer or anything, but how about instead of a muted turquiose, you go with a version of your green accents? There are so many versions of green, but I like the look of beige/tan and sagey green.
Another thing you can do is just paint one of the walls chocolate for a dramatic effect.
Do you have any pictures so we can see the room as it is now? It might be easier to help you then… =)

I agree with PP – I was thinking green, too!

Oooooh, like that idea…love that picture. Our furniture is a little more tan than that but it could work. that sagey green is the green in our living room too!
