You don’t have to match your shoes to your dress.  You can totally go with whatever you want! I think lavender would be an amazing choice! 🙂

Whatever you do, DON’T go with white ANYTHING if your dress is ivory!  A pop of color looks awesome underneath though!

Love lavender! You can use a color from your flowers, or bridesmaids, or something sparkly!  I think any of those would work, but I agree with PP- don’t mix ivory and white.

My dress is ivory and I’m going with blue satin shoes as my “something blue.”  🙂

Have you chosen colors or a theme for your wedding?  Maybe that could provide some inspiration when it comes to choosing your shoes.

I wore gold heels because I wanted a pop of color and champagne/gold was one of our main wedding colors.

March2015bride2be:  I would recommend you not wear white. It’s also really hard to find the right ivory if you try to match. Therefore it’s often easier to pick one of your wedding colors, “something blue” or a metallic like gold, bronze or copper.

March2015bride2be:  I don’t suggest you wear white, but lavender sounds like a gorgeous option. What colour shoes are your maids wearing?

I have an Ivory dress. Our colors are mint and lilac. If you want to wear lavender, go for it. I’m wearing like a sangria color for my shoes. It probably doesn’t match, but IDGAF. 🙂
