This is the dress my girls will be wearing in our wedding: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Long-Strapless-Stretch-Satin-Dress-F15586 in the color champagne. What color shoes? I was intitially thinking black but would gold or another color be better?

I really like that dress shape 🙂
It’ll be difficult to match gold satin shoes to that champagne dress because they’ll be similar enough in color that it could clash.
I’d go with black or black with champagne or metalic embellishments.

Thanks! I picked it because all my girls have different shapes but this seems to flatter EVERYONE. I intially wanted to go with black but was met with horrified looks so now I’m second guessing!

I also think that dress is great!!! I am also a vote for black. With it being so long, you really won’t see them that much, everyone probably already has black shoes or if they need to buy them could wear them again. the only other thing would be getting shoes dyed to match but then that costs more money and everyone has champagne shoes, don’t know how likely they would wear them again.
good job, bee!

I love the dress colour! What colour jewelery/accessories will they be wearing? Have you considered nude coloured shoes as an option?

I have to agree about nude or champagne shoes. Even if the champagne colour did not match, black shoes would stick out like a sore thumb with a dress that light; I’d be horrified to wear black shoes, too.

What other colors are featured in your wedding? I think bright jewel toned sandals could work- especially if they coordinated with the bouquets

my girls wore gold and champagne dresses and I THINK they had similarly colored shoes? Honestly….they were long dresses so I’m not sure I even saw their shoes.

I think black is too harsh and gold is too warm. I’d either get dyeables and have them dyed to match a swatch of the dresses, nude shoes, or, for a contrasting look, shoes that match one of your wedding colors (like if your colors are champagne and red, red shoes).

Our colors are champagne, gold, and rose gold.

Black I’d say definitely no, way too harsh of a contrast. Dyed to match the dress or nude. I’d personally go nude.

Hmmm I didn’t think about nude!!

I vote for nude..they make everyone’s legs look longer & they go with everything.
