i say a nice heather grey. i love bathrooms that give off that ‘spa’ feel, then you have have teal or some other color bath accessories for a pop of color.

It helps a lot to have an item of inspiration. Why dont you find a shower curtain that you love and pick the paint color from that?

It’s hard to tell the color of the counter from that pic.

If there is any grey in it at all, I would paint the walls a light grey and paint out the cabinet a darker grey. I would paint the door and wood trim the same color as the walls so it doesn’t look so “patchworky”.

I would add some hardware to the cabinet, something like this from Restoration Hardware.

If you did that, I would also change the door knob to the same metal finish.

If there is no grey, I would do the same thing only use brown- a light color on the walls, and woodwork and a dark ckocolate on the cabinet.

That leaves your options open to use any accent color you choose for towels etc.( I would use white. I would also use a white shower curtain and bathrug. )

Please no rug around the toilet. Can you think of anything more disgusting than something that absorbs drips around the toilet?

In a situation like this I’d start with the shower curtain. I’d find a pattern that I love that has an accent color in it that I could use to paint. It’s easier to find the shower curtain then paint than it is to find a shower curtain to match the paint.

I would say a very very light beige:

    Like that.

Personally, since this is just a bathroom, I would go more bold and exciting.  Bathrooms are fun to do because it isn’t a room we socialize or spend a whole lot of time in so you can kind of make it darker than you would the other rooms in the house or use a more exciting color than you would use, say, in the family room where you might want to keep it more neutral.  I would save the light and beige colors for family/dining rooms or the kitchen with e more brave with the bathrooms!  Good luck!

I like the idea of blue — super relaxing.  I love turquoise and just all shades of blue.  It reminds me of the ocean and helps me chill.  Or, I’d do a sandy color and pops of turquoise for decor, lol.  I’d also paint the cabinent white but I have a thing for white cabinets.
