MaltaLovesUruguay: have you tried asking the shop where you got the bridesmaid dresses about a matching sash? That’s what my sister did for my niece. Both bridesmaid and flower girl dresses were from davids bridal, so when she ordered them, she just asked them for a matching sash. If not, could there be enough fabric left over after alterations of a bridesmaid dress to make a sash?

mariaml: thank you! i wish i could have found bm dresses with the same floral effect as her dress, but i ended up just telling everyone to find a mint green dress of their choice. the mixture turned out really cool 🙂

My flower girl wore grey/silver. My bridesmaids wore black and I was i. Ivory, grey was one of my wedding colors. You could always do a light grey, she would match because the guys are in grey! We shopped around Christmas time and found a dress at gymboree, so you should have lots of options if you go now. A friend of mine got hers at Target!

My dress is ivory on top of a more champagne/blush colored layer underneath. I was worried about the same thing with an all ivory flower girl dress. I ordered a flower girl dress to match my bridesmaid dresses, and am considering getting an ivory sash or accent to add to her dress. I ordered the dress from Dessy which has flower girl dresses in pretty much every color of the rainbow. If you go to the designer’s website, they have various interesting options.

pswtec: The dresses are by designer Donna Morgan and the girls are ordering from Weddington Way but the extra fabric from alterations is a VERY good idea. One of my girls is a shorty so that could be an option. Thank you!!! I love your bridal party fashion and your dress!

pearlrose: Donna Morgan doesnt do flower girl dresses unfirtunatly, but another bee suggested some left over fabric from alterations which we can maybe make a sash with. That may be able to tie everything together. I would order a colored dress from a different designer but the color of the bridesmaids dresses is pretty distinctive and I havent found a good match. Some awesome suggestions from you ladies though!! I went from zero options to TONS! Thank you!!

My colors were pink, black and white. I put my FGs (well, they were more like JBs, but they wanted to to be FGs, so I had them scatter rose petals) in pink dresses, and the rest of my bridal party in their favorite LBD with pink accessories that I purchased for them (organza shawls and pink pearl pendants).
