I would try on a few different shades of veils with the dress.

If the Ivory is light enough, you might be able to get away with a white veil. If not, I’m sure a bridal store will have light Ivory veils in stock, or they would probably be able to order one in a color to match your dress.

I would go with white. “Ivory” to the wedding gown designer is a totally different color than to the rest of the earth. I bought an ivory veil to go with my ivory gown and it looked YELLOW against the dress, lol! Huge annoyance! I would much rather have a veil that looked slightly brighter than the gown material, the softness of the material won’t make any difference harsh.

I would say white.

White – simply because the ivory would be darker than your light ivory dress and may look a bit heavy in comparison.

It’s always about the white veil anyway! Maybe choose one with some light ivory beading/details to coordinate with your dress?

My dress was light ivory, I think my veil was ivory.

Like Prewitt, my dress was also light ivory, and veil ivory!

You could also try to find one in diamond white which might be a better match.
