I will be wearing the Maggie Sottero Divina gown in blush for my swiftly approaching nuptials. My concern is what color veil should I wear? Im not a big fan of birdcage veils or head pieces or long dramatic veils for that matter. My veil will be very very simple. My question is would a white/ivory veil clash with my blush gown? Does anyone have any pictures of a blush gown with a white/ivory veil? I’d love to see them!

I don’t think an ivory or white veil will clash with your blush dress. Most veils are made to be translucent so I’d doubt it would look out of place with any color gown.

I also have a blush gown and I am leaning towards ivory, just because my linens are going to be ivory. So maybe think about which other colors you are accenting with. If that doesn’t apply, either will work.

I do not have any pictures dear but try to check at weddingstar they do have a lot of selections of veils that is suitable for you. I just saw their site when I am searching for wedding accessories for my sis wedding. hope it will help you too. Just sharing my ideas. 🙂

@Olive12 Thats what I was thinking, too, but I wasnt sure! I’m definitely going with something very simple since I’m not a huge fan of veils anyways.
@Mrschmura You make a really good point. My linens will be an ivory/off white as well so I guess I could do a simple, sheer ivory veil. Thanks!
@LouisseLee Thank You so much! I will check them out..

OMG I had never even thought of this problem with a colored dress! To me, veils look whatever color the dress they fall against is so I’ve never given it much thought.
Here’s some inspiration:

@mchitt329 These look awesome! Im not feeling so bad about it now! My veil wont be long, though. At least i think! I always wanted an elbow length veil but now I may have to find a nice long one!
