i’m having a hard time deciding my hair color. i have 2 hours left to figure this out cuz i’m going to my hairstylist at 5:30.
my natural color is a dark brown/black. i have golden olive skin. i have been blonde for about 2 years, just like jessica alba’s color. (i used to dye it diff color every 2 months before then… i’ve had every hair color lol!) now my hair is ombre… brown on top, fades down to blonde. and my mom has been bugging me to get close to natural hair color for the wedding. and i agree with her cuz i don’t want to see freakish blonde on my head 30 years from now lol
my wedding is in a week, and my appointment for color is today and i am sooooooooo lost.
i really want to keep my blonde… but i’m so sick of the ombre, but then i like it in pictures. wth.
should i stick with it? or get like a chestnut color… or a chestnut with highlights or some other kind of brown?
i feel like i would be wasting so much money getting rid of the blonde cuz it probably will need to be stripped if i want it again and my hair will be damaged for a couple months if i were to bleach again.
this is my hair now close to now… this is from feb and now my bangs have a little blonde
this was my bridal test hair

I like it like that, but I think you could go darker all over with chestnut highlights? That’s sort of what I do and I get so many compliments on it. It’s warm and nice.

i think you chould dye it all to the color that is closest to your roots in the first pic. it seems a little lighter than in the second pic but maybe not.

@mattsgirl813: 2nd pic is my most current hair. it has a bit more blonde

While I think it looks awesome down, I don’t care for the ombre effect in an updo… I thnk you’re right, and you’ll want to look back on your pics showing you in classic hair and makeup. Chestnut with subtle highlights/lowlights would be your best bet 🙂 p.s. You’re very pretty… you’ll look gorgeous on your day 🙂

You could do a sandy brown with lowlights for depth! =)
I agree with the PP who said they liked it down, but didnt really care for it up!
OR you could always just do an all over natural color and then put some highlights or lowlights in your bangs! =)
Best of Luck, cant wait to see what you decide. Either way your a beautiful lady!

Chestnut with highlight might look more natural but still keep the lightness of the blonde.
