I am a little overwhelmed with color choices right now. There is a ton of great stuff out there and I just don’t know what to go with for my garden wedding in the spring.
Sage green and brown are kind of my favorites right now because I’m not a very flashy girl and loud colors just aren’t my thing. A couple people from the wedding party have expressed concerns that those colors will wash everyone out. Here’s a picture that I really like:
What colors did you choose?

I had a vineyard wedding, but I didn’t really choose colors that coincide with my venue. I had pink as my main color and then green and silver/platinum as my accents. I went with soft versions of these colors so they wouldn’t be too loud in an already gorgeous setting.
I love your colors, but since you’re having a garden wedding, greens and some browns will already be all over your surroundings. So maybe use those as accent colors? Why not use like a golden yellow or even a blue to complement the green and brown? That will just help your decor pop a little bit and not blend into your garden setting. Just a suggestion. I’m sure other bees will have much more input to help you out!

I choose a teal blue but I think I will be adding some light color greens like the dresses in your picture…probably with the bridesmaids flowers so they blue flowers dont blend in to much to their dresses. I like the colors of the photo you posted.

want to hear something crazy? i didn’t choose colors! instead i’m having the girls wear black dresses and brightly colored shoes. and i’m used wildflowers of all kinds. there will be lots of different colors everywhere! you could always just start searching for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and see what sticks out and would look good in the garden. since you’re having a garden wedding, there will be tons of natural colors around you!

I chose charcoal/pewter grey for my main color and plan on using the flowers and other things to brighten it up.

I’m having my wedding at a country club in NY during the summer and my colors are blue, white and silver. I feel those colors are more of a cool, chic/modern, elegant look.
