I love the bright colors to kick off summer! Are you going for soft/romantic feel? If so the light ones.  I like both… guess I am no help  sorry!

No one will be looking at the carpet. If anyone does notice it, they will know that it is totally out of your control. Don’t even consider the carpet color when choosing anything.

Have you tried dancing on carpet? Many people can do it with no problem while others say they find it impossible. It’s really not difficult to dance on carpet, so if a dancefloor is out of your budget, it is ok to skip it. If folks want to dance, nothing will stop them.

I like that plum color with the grey and maybe use a raspberry:) Make it warm and light with candles. If you are concerned with the carpet, just use candles to kinda “hide” the color and dim the lights.

I would do a lighter grey for the Groomsmen to have Groom stick out a bit as well.

Also be aware that many women will kick off their shoes before they start dancing since dancing in heels is not that fun for most. In that case, carpet shouldn’t be an issue.
