Someone recently told me that it seems like I only wear black in the winter. Well I just looked in my closet and it turns out that in addition to black I also wear dark gray, dark blue, chocolate brown, dark red, plum purple, and jeans. lol I guess maybe that kind of had a point. I wear a lot of dark colors. I do wear some bright colors in the spring and summer but black, purple, red, and gray are big favorites all year long. Do you wear darker colors in the winter or have colors you gravitate toward each season?

I favor a mixture of darker colors (navy, gray, black, brown) and brights (reds, pinks, greens). Purple is a staple no matter what time of year, and I also throw in a few cream/ivory pieces. Syracuse is famous for basically getting NO sunlight for 6 months, so I feel like if all I wore in the winter was dreary colors, I’d just die. My current coat is purple and I usually pair it with a bright red scarf 😀

I like to stay winter-y but also bright at the same time because my style (and personality) are very bright! My favorite to do in winter is an aqua/ice blue.
