I am using that same color and am doing gray tones and pale greens. I am using green hydrangeas, which look really nice with that purple. I don’t really have a set theme and will be getting married in the Spring. Hope this helps

My color scheme was dark purple, shades of grey, silver, ivory, and black. It was perfect for my style. I really love purple and grey together.

I second grey, or even silver. You could go white too?

I think purple and gold (or bronze) would work great for a vintage theme!  We’re doing wine purple, silver and gold with some green and baby blue.  My BMs will be in purple dresses and gold shoes, and will carry white flowers.  Our decor will be mostly gold and white with some greenery. I originally wanted to do purple, burnt orange, green and ivory, but thought it was a bit too “fall” for our wedding (late August).

MrsUPS:  Hace you checked out http://www.theperfectpalette.com ?  You can click on the color purple you like and see all the palettes they have developed using your color.

First thing I thought of was this… purples, mercury glass, silvers, greys, pewter and white

I JUST saw on pinterest a deep purple, dark maroon, and ivory palate. I LOVED IT! My Fiance doesn’t =(
