Personally, I would not continue with the sequins as you want them to be pretty and sparkly and elegant accents, and not take over the space and make it seem gaudy. I think that the rosette table clothes are pretty, but, again, would work better as accents. Going with either gold, blush, or ivory linens would make the sequined ones stand out more. Maybe gold would just look more uniform?

I personally like the gold sequins! I think the contrast between the shiny sequins and the rustic grapevines creates visual texture and interest. Also, there will be people sitting at those tables, so some of the “bling” will be blocked by other textures, such as their clothing.

I’m not liking the pink sequins, though. Too overwheelmingly Barbie to me.

I like the blush.. It makes the head table stand out more.

(Also, I know you can mix and match, but the idea of a silver candlestick on gold sequin table cloths just doesn’t do it for me. I think the blush would look way better for the guest tables.)

Some of your male guests might also be a little uncomfortable with sitting at a table covered with pink sequins. Especually since they will be photograped sitting there, and pink sequince might not be their backgrouns of choice. Just a thought.

What about something like this? So that the gold matches back to the tables with the gold sequins, but it’s not too much gold. I think incorporating pink or blush table clothes will be too flashy. Regardless I love the look of your reception and hope you post a recap!

My vote is for gold as well, but I agree that 5 sequins tablecloths might be a bit overwhelming. Also, have you priced these out? They’re super expensive- esp for 8 foot tables. I’d look into runners, personally. I wanted these too, but the cost I couldn’t make it work. However- I am making sure I get my cake table 100% sequins. My photographer said it really makes the cakes pop like crazy.

stefano101:  uh, yeah- that’s an AMAZING price! They’re all 50-100$ here depending on size. Make sure you see them before you agree to it.
