@Pand0ra:

Those colours are absolutely DIVINE!

September in Australia is Spring, so can still be pretty warm. I’ve decided on lots of white, lavender, silver…..and probably some greens. I just haven’t been 100%. I’m getting married out doors on the waterfront (river, not ocean) and there is plenty of green around, so I didn’t want to put the BMs in green dresses and I really love lavender. I’m just only going to have the odd touch of it, because I don’t want to overload on it.

Anyone have any ideas?

I posted last year with our colors… But I figured I’d update with some pictures πŸ™‚ We basically ended up with shades of blue, purple, and green πŸ™‚ The Bridesmaid or Best Man colors were eggplant, jade, and pistachio… But those specific colors were hard to find in decor so I just made it bright and fun and coordinating colors πŸ™‚

All photos (except the photobooth ones) courtesy of Nick Dantonio Photography, http://www.nickdantoniophotography.com

Photobooth pictures courtesy of Carlson’s Studio, http://www.carlsonsstudio.com

The style of our flowers definitely made it feel more summery – which I was VERY happy about!

You can see some of the church decor in this one…

Some of the details: My clutch and garter πŸ™‚

Here’s a good look at the girls and guys together…

And this one includes the flowergirls…

My whole family.  My mom bought her dress before we were even engaged and it worked out perfectly!

Our “Banner Boys” πŸ™‚ And more decor there

The guys socks πŸ™‚

Our cake!

And we had a photobooth… The strips from it were our favors.  I purchased the background for it πŸ™‚ (I only put up pictures of us because I didn’t know who would want their faces splattered across the internet haha)

The hat and glasses in action…

Please notice the chalkboard in use here… haha πŸ™‚

Sorry for all of the huge pictures… I don’t know how to make them smaller… But I wanted to show you all how our colors came together πŸ™‚

I don’t think I have a date twin!

But I am doing almost the same colours as @ddavila2001:  by having navy, silver, dark grey, blush, light blue and ivory. No idea how it will look in the end! Groom is wearing navy, groomsmen probably in grey (any shade) and the bridesmaids are in charcoal grey and silver. I would like blush pink flowers and the guys will be wearing light blue ties. Nothing matches!!! But I hope it will come together.

We’re getting married in DR on October 20, 2012!!! Our original colors were a simple (and I think classic) sky blue, silver and ivory but Fiance decided a few months ago that he ‘didn’t care for them anymore.’ So our NEW (and improved) color scheme is coral and teal with a sand base.
