The giant stuffed vagina is the most ridiculous one I’ve seen.

Pretty much every costume designed for an adult woman makes me cringe. Seriously…. do you HAVE TO be a “slutty” something? Why can’t you just be a witch? Why does it have to be a slutty witch? Sigh….

@MexiPino:  A-freakin-men! All the power to you if you want to wear a skimpy outfit, but I don’t and therefore I have no options unless I want to make something. And don’t even get me started on the ones for 13-year-old girls! My friend and I were at a Halloween store a few days ago, and the “juniors” costumes were even worse than the adult womens’.

Costumes that you cant immediately know what its supposed to be. Theres so many (mainly for women) that I look at them and just think, “okay… But what are you supposed to be?”

Like this costume, theres so many costumes where its the exact same thing, yet they just change the colors and each one is labled something else.

Agree on the sexy anythings… Just why ? Halloween is supposed to be scary ! Heidi Klum could definitely pull off a ‘sexy” costume which is why I was impressed when she was a blue multi armed .. something ah this was a while ago so I can’t remember lol. Also those costumes that are spandex and cover your whole face.

@MexiPino:  right!? I was looking at costumes the other day on amazon (not that we do Halloween, but I looked anyway) and they were almost all teenie tiny mini skirts with decorations labeled “prison guard” “pirate” or “police officer”. How many prison guards or cops do you know that wear clothing with their butts hanging out?

Any costume that makes a mocking stereotype out of an ethnicity that is traditionally less privileged in the US…

@allyfally:  LOL that is hilarious. I like how the sidebar to the right of the page LITERALLY has the same outfits but different colors and titles. You are so right!

@MexiPino:  This!

Halloween is really not a big thing over here; and it’s definitely not a thing for adults.

But, if there is a Halloween fancy dress party for adults you can guarantee that 90% of the women will go as something ‘sexy’ or ‘slutty’ and I find it SOOOO cringey and try-hard.

Personally, if I’m dressing up I like to go as things like a pumpkin, or a ‘proper’ witch (complete with horrible fake nose); my best friend’s favourite costume is accident victim with bandages and fake blood lol. I have no desire to don lycra leggings and a corset and whack on some cat ears and go as a ‘cat’… Urgh.
