I just ordered FI’s wedding band and wanted to write something fun/romantic inside besides our initials. At the last minute, I ended up picking Mon coeur est a vous ~ 1/25/14 which means “My heart is yours” in French. My Fiance speaks French (I do not) and I’m always teasing him that he could be saying something totally rude and I’ll never know the difference.
So Bees, tell me: What cute/funny/romantic messages did you have inscribed in your FI’s ring?

That’s awesome! I didn’t get anything on my husbands ring, I had nothing creative to put! Lol

MY phone number. He looses things ALL.THE.TIME. like his phone, so if someone ever found it at least one of us (the more responible one) would be able to retrieve it.
It is more of a running joke than anything.

I haven’t put anything on FI’s ring, but I saw a photo online of a ring that was embossed on the underside so that whenever the husband took it off, it would leave the words “PUT ME BACK ON!” indented on his finger. I thought that was hilarious lol

@PoppyH: haha that’s awesome!
@MissMiaMarch: both of our rings say “Only the Beginning” which is from the Chicago song “Beginnings.” The line in the song is “Only the beginning of what I want to feel forever,” and it’s our song. It’s his ringtone when he calls me, and it will be our first dance 🙂

My husband’s ring says “even more than chocolate” as in I love him even more than chocolate 🙂

@Mrsmelissscott: I thought of a bunch of lines I liked but they were all too long. Lol so I ended up just getting it to say “to my forever 5.2.14” simple, sweet, and to the point lol

@MissMiaMarch: Not his wedding band, but my boyfriend has a promise ring (it’s really a wedding band, we’re just not married, haha), and inside of it I had “together we will be weightless” engraved, a la Lee DeWyze’s “Weightless”.
It’s a great song, take a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzyZ85UFPaA

Yahhh, my boyfriend wants to put turdnugget in mine and poopypants in his. It’s so immature, but that’s what we call each other sometimes. I’m totally against pet names, so these are kind of anti-pet names. I’m not sure if we’ll actually do it, but its funny to think about!

Fi and I are in a long distance relationship (and probably always will be – or I’ve accepted it until he retires anyways) so I will be having ‘Genesis 31:49’ in his ring. It means ‘And Mizpah, for he said, “The Lord watch between youand me, when we are out of one another’s sight.” It is a verse that has gotten me through a lot. It is probably a verse he is unfamiliar with, though, so the inscription will be kept a secret and that night will be accompanied by his wedding gift (a nice leather binded bible monogrammed with our new last name and wedding date).

My SO is dead set on putting “I love you” on my band and “I know” on his band. Star Wars nerd.
