I absolutely loved our chandeliers along the aisle. I had seen it in a photo and it turned out so pretty in the sunlight. None of our guests had experienced this before which was  nice.

We we even go to reuse them for the third “location” within our venue where we had dancing, cake, bouquet/garter toss etc.

@Selcier:  Thanks 🙂 My Fi was pretty insistent on wanting something different that would give guests something other to do than dance. We’re both pretty excited about it.

We got married in a theater and had a Midsummer Nights Dream theme so I made most of our decor myself.

@PinkGlitterGirl: thanks, the numbers were like a cardboard material my husband mounted them onto wood after spraying them with spray paint. Got the numbers from a craft store.

We’re getting married in August.  But I’m SO excited about so many of the touches we’re doing!  Our theme is vintage, lace, romantic.

I want to tie off a thick light pink ribbon at the end of the aisle so people don’t walk through it until it’s the processional, and then we’re also putting this sign on an easel in front of the ribbon:

One of my soroity sisters volunteered to do all the printables so that they carry details through and look amazing plus some other things like our cake stand and card holder box. (She’s very crafty). These a bunch more we’re doing but this is what she’s done so far…

(these notes will go in the little funnel rose petal throwers. We’re doing 40 of them rather than 1 per person. So we’ll give them to the people closest to the aisle)

The programs themselves will be fans (on grey popsicle sticks – she hasn’t worked on them yet)

(the menu isn’t centered properly here but it was just a sample to show me the new border. We changed it because this new punch has 2 pieces, one that does corners, while the original we used didn’t and corners weren’t looking good)

(these edges on the instagram cards will match the menus one – they will be on the cocktail hour tables and bar only, a few per table I’m thinking)

(The lines are just for now. We will take them off when we have exact info – this was just to mock it up. We’ll fill it in with the times and schedule for the rehearsal dinner friday, day of timings break down on sat and breakfast on sunday)

Oh! we are also having our cake designed with lace detailing which I’m super excited about! We’re only doing 3 tiers as we had to pay extra for the detailing so the Cake Stand my sorority sister is making is basically a styrofoam cake dummy, covered in satin fabric with some extra fabric done prettily and a pearl brooch looking piece at the center.  It will give the cake the look of the fourth layer.

and we’re planning to get these as our place card holders which double as the favor (can be used as a picture holder):

We’re also going to do a snapfish photo album with pictures from our engagement shoot in it (and lots of white space) to use as our guest sign in book.

I can’t wait!!! Can’t it be August yet?!?!? 😀
