Here is my ring. Center stone is 0.8 carat diamond on 18k white gold band. 4 small side diamonds, unsure of the carats on them.
Is there a name for this particular style? Is it pretty much a solitaire, or something else? I don’t really care about titles (I LOVE my engagement ring!!), I’m just curious.

I’d consider it a solitaire.

I think solitaire with accent sidestones.

Solitaire with shoulder diamonds. I wouldn’t quite say channel set because I can see the smaller diamonds are in a channel but also have claws. Very unique and beautiful

Solitaire with smaller side diamonds. It’s pretty how the band almost forms a V near the start of the smaller diamonds.

I would call it a solitaire…a gorgeous one!

I would say “Solitaire with accent stones”. Pretty ring!

Willow90: A solitaire is by definition a single diamond (or gemstone — key being single since that’s what solitaire literally means) in a setting by itself. So it’s not a solitaire, although a lot of people use that term to refer to a centerstone or a ring with an obvious centerstone.
