I’ve been using an old strapless bra for my fitting but its too big since the last time i used it. I’m a 34C. I’ve looked around and i can’t find a decent nice boning strapless bridal bra. My dress was altered to a sweetheart but it doesn’t have support so i would need a bra.

I had bra cups sewn into my dress, but I’m a B cup.

I went braless, but there were cups sewed in the lining of my dress. What if you added cups?

I also had cups sewn into mine.

Does your dress have some boning/structure in the bodice? If so, I would probably go with sewn-in cups.

I was wearing a boned long line strapless bra (I think from Carnival or something like that), but the boning poked out in funny ways and showed through the dress. Also I kind of had a bit of “shelf boob” because the bra pushed up but didn’t really cup very well.
I’m now going to wear a strapless bra called self expression by maidenform. It’s not a long line, but this bra does work well and is a lot more comfortable. I got it at Target and it was pretty inexpensive. I was very surprised to find the non-longline was better with my dress.

I had cups sewn into mine after realizing a strapless would keep making my dress slide down. Having alterations done now and hoping it will be great next time I try on the dress!!

I am also having cups sewn into my dress. I am a 32C.

I went without a bra since the dress had a corset back, and I’m a 36GG. Held just fine!

I bought a long line bra from a specialty shop that did free alterations. My seamstress marked where it needed to be altered to work with my dress, and the shop made the changes. It was perfect!

I bought a longline bra to go with my sweetheart neckline. It was supportive and worked well with my dress, which had a corset back.

I’m wearing this. My dress is cotton/silk faille, and has no boning or real structure, and a zipper back, so I couldn’t just add cups. This bra is great, because it doesn’t have any weird boning or seams, so it looks really smooth and natural under my fairly thin gown. I’m a 32DD and it’s very supportive.
