Amazon has a registry guide that was helpful to see what I might be missing.

Yeah, we’ve got bathroom stuff, too.. toothbrush holder, towels, soap disponser, shower curtain, rug.. basically everything to coordinate a new bathroom.

As for bedroom stuff we registered for sheets, a new bedding set, and nice hamper.

Other things we registered for besides kitchen stuff.. a nice vacuum, a Shark steamer vac (my mom has 1 and I LOVE it!) for linoleum/hardwood/tile floors, lamps, and just a few decorative things.  We aren’t sure where we’re moving to between now & the wedding (depends where I can find a job), so don’t know what kind of space we’ll end up with, thus don’t know what kind of furniture we’ll get, so we couldn’t really register for a lot of decorative stuff!

I’d just look at the registry guides on the sites for the stores you’re registering at.. they’ll give you more ideas! Also if you know anyone else getting married/has gotten married in the last year or 2, check out theirs.. that’s how I got ideas for mine, too!

We didn’t register for many kitchen items at all (we have a well stocked kitchen).  Instead, we registered for some upgraded camping equipment, good luggage, board games, very nice picture frames.

We did register for nice Nambe flatware.

Towels, some nice hand weights, an agility ladder, board games, flower vases, a couple of Criterion Collection DVDs. Registering was fun!

We really need to update a lot of our stuff, old kitchen equipment, old bedding, old towels from the college days, etc.  So, maybe think about what you have now and what you might like to replace?  Some of the things we’ve got on our registries include:

– a dyson vacuum

– a nice comforter with matching sheets, pillowcases, etc.

– new towels (four sets of two, to have enough for everyday use and guests if needed)

– a good set of pots and pans

– kitchen accessories in our new color scheme

Also, try to think of things you want but wouldn’t buy for yourselves.

we mostly upgraded our kitchen (cookware, bakeware, small appliances, serving pieces, china, silverware, etc) but also registered for towels, bedding, table linens and placemats, vases, candlesticks, throw pillows, and things like that…

Oh I SO need a steamer in my life, and a food processor, a sofa table and some outdoor patio furniture. Maybe a few other small things…

And then we’re going to suggest gift cards to Lowes or Home Depot will be greatly appreciated because we really want to remodel the house and do some new landscaping…
