He proposed at a family Christmas Eve party after mass. I was wearing a black Piko type long sleeve swing dress with a faux fur vest on top with black tights and little black wedge booties.

I was dressed in jeans and a tee shirt and accessorized with some hiking gear because we were trekking through the rainforest. So I was definitely not all glammed up!

We’d been going for daily walks in the park after work when he surprised me.  I was in crappy yoga pants and a halter top. But I didn’t care πŸ™‚

An oversized ugly Christmas sweater (that Fiance hates probably more than any other article of clothing I have ever owned), jeans, boots, black beanie and a big faux fur trench coat.

To be fair, we were outside and it was 30 degrees.

The sweater in question (full disclosure, it is my favorite and I will be buried in it):

I was in dirty jeans, cutoff, and muck boots. I was literally kneedeep in shit when he proposed πŸ™‚

I was just wearing boring work clothes since FI had been in cahoots with my coworkers to surprise me and take me away for the rest of the day. Sometimes I wish I had had on something cuter, but meh, it wouldn’t have made the day any more special πŸ™‚

I’m sure I had on cut off jean shorts, a tank top, and a baseball cap.  We were out cruising around in the hills which is our favorite thing to do together and had stopped to check out a neat little creek.  It was definitely unexpected in that moment.

We were traveling home from the beach that day. He told me in the afternoon we were going to lunch at his family’s country club and I had to wear a dress. He really just wanted me to not be in yoga pants and a sweatshirt because he had hired a photographer to shoot the engagement, LOL. So, I had on a simple gray cotton dress from The Gap and black leggings. Any time I wear the dress now I think of the day! We actually did end up at the country club anyway later in the day to celebrate with our families… so it wasn’t a total lie! πŸ˜‰

Funny thing is, he was wearing nicer clothes, too but had a hooded New York Giants sweatshirt over his clothes because he was using the front pocket to hide the ring. I was a little confused but he kept telling me he was “cold”, LOL. So, in the first half of all the proposal pics he has on this bright blue football sweatshirt. Luckily he took it off after the deed was done so we could get some nice pics. πŸ™‚

I was in my pyjamas and had just woken up – my hair was a mess and I had no makeup on. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I was wearing yoga pants and one of his t-shirts with messy hair. We were packing up to go on a 6 roadtrip at 10pm. I got off work at 9 that night and went home to change and pack up the car.

Lol mine was tonight! I was just wearing shorts with a nicer t-shirt because we had just went to a sports bar My hair wasnt even really fixed since it rained ALL day. but it was so cute and hmeaningful and he caught me off guard because I knew about the ring so I think it worked out good that it was an unsuspecting time. But tomorrow I will be getting cute to take a picture and show the rest of the family.

Our anniversary plans were after work, so I was wearing work clothes. Nothing super fancy, but business casual.
