I ran out of the room when my fiancé went to take the dog out and changed into some sexy underwear and a silk robe. Definitely misinterpreted the way the night was going. He came back with a ring… I was NOT expecting it.

My Fiance proposed the day we moved into our new house, and we had been unpacking and at Target earlier in the day. So I was wearing running shorts, a San Jose Sharks t-shirt, and an old pair of running shoes

I was wearing leggings and a tshirt. Had no idea he was proposing that day!

I was totally unprepared because we were at a casual BBQ kind of dinner at my parents’ house, so I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He was wearing a nice dress shirt because he knew. haha.

I had this adorable outfit all planned out. I was going to wear a black tank top, jeans, a maroon cardigan, put my contacts in, curl my hair, and actually wear more than mascara and chapstick for my makeup. I knew the proposal was coming up because a family friend had accidentally spilled the beans about it, not knowing he was actually planning to propose.
After the secret was out, my fiancé admitted that he was planning on doing it on the 23rd of April. Well, the 16th of April rolled around and my fiancé and I had a normal morning. But that afternoon, he wanted to spend the rest of the day out at the lake and explore the little town. I knew in that instant that he wasn’t proposing on the 23rd, which was just a cover up to throw me off a little, and that it would be happening the 16th.
I could have chosen to wear my super cute outfit and get all dolled up, but I knew if I did that my fiancé would know that I knew he was going to propose (my sister showed him the outfit I had planned on wearing). He had worked SO hard to surprise me and throw me off, so I decided to let him think he had really pulled it off.
So I wore jeans, a grey t-shirt, a white North Face pullover, straight hair, my glasses, and chapstick and mascara for makeup. In the end, it didn’t matter what I was wearing, and what I put on for that day was what I’m normally like anyways. The moment was still absolutely perfect!

Honestly haven’t put a single thought into what I’ll be wearing. I know he’s going for something super lowkey, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if I come home from work and he is there with the ring. So by that logic, I’ll probably be wearing work clothes 😂

I had a blue casual dress, flat sandals, and nude blazer!

I was wearing gym clothes. I had just come back from yoga and when I opened the front door he was already down on one knee with the ring box open. lol After saying yes and hugging a lot, I went upstairs and changed into something (I don’t even remember) and we went to dinner/drinks to celebrate hah.

I was in jeans and a cute blouse (we were on a date to the Library of Congress), but he proposed outside, so I was actually in my winter coat and all bundled up.

PJs and my mouth guard (and probably some drool if we’re being honest) lol! He had come back really late from a flight, and woke me up as he just didn’t want to wait any longer :). Not a fairytale, but very ‘us’ and romantic in our own weirdo way.

I was wearing this dress.. now my “Lucky dress”.. (It’s Lucky Brand and “lucky” since I was wearing it when he proposed) 😉

I hate hate hate what I was wearing. A cheap lacy blouse I’d bought at a thrift shop and jeans with brown leather knee high boots. The boots were cute…the blouse…not so much. Plus, humidity had gotten to my hair so it looked a mess. But my ring is purty 🙂

My fiance is gonna ask me while we go hiking so I’m gonna be wearing work out clothes and maybe a little makeup! (: just for the pics! haha. I can’t wait!

Well it was last night lol, and I was NOT expecting it. We were just at game night with our friends, so I was wearing black leggings and a black tank top. Very casual.

He proposed after a 5k run, so we were sweaty and gross, and I just changed into t-shirts and shorts after the run. Yep.
