As simple as the title! We will be giving each other a small gift, (with a budget of spending no more than $200) on the morning of our wedding. I was thinking of maybe getting him an Apple watch and engraving it but he has a brand new fitbit and a lovely Tag watch so I’m not sure! He wanted the Apple watch but didn’t want to spend the cash so went for a fitbit instead which he uses religiously!
If not the apple watch, I was thinking of a whiskey glass engraved as he loves to have a whiskey on ice after work…
If you did, what did you gift your h2b on your wedding day!

My groom’s wedding gift is me not killing his mother during the whole planning process. (lol sorry I couldn’t resist)
I didn’t know this was a thing. Our gift to each other is in our vows.

I’m doing a boudoir shoot and giving him the finished pictures! I can’t wait to see his face!
(I also didn’t know this was a thing- but I saw my wedding photographer also does boudoir and suggested it as a grooms gift, so I figured it would be fun!)

- Wedding: May 2019 - York, ME
jemmlove12 : Apple watches are a lot more than $200. What about engraved cufflinks and a tie clip that he can wear for the wedding?

I am getting him a watch, socks, a handkercheif embroidered with Mr. and our wedding date, a tie clip and a bottle of good whiskey

We didn’t do wedding gifts. The wedding was the gift I guess.

My husband is a pretty emotional/sentimental person so I made him a scrapbook of our relationship journey and left blank pages for the wedding and honeymoon. He loved it!

Me, my vow, and sharing my finance.

I think an Apple watch will set you back at least $400. If he likes whiskey, how about a really nice bottle? Whistle Pig is a really good brand that I’ve purchased for my husband as a birthday gift. I also once got him a bottle of cognac from the year he was born. I think that was like a $200 bottle.
For our wedding, I got my husband and myself 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton (the night before, the wedding night, and the night after), but I guess that was a gift for both of us!

I got him a compass engraved with the coordinates of the bar where we had our first date. He loves travel and explorers.

We did something small (well, I thought we were doing that and I’d communicated like around $25 but I guess he didn’t pay attention since he got me a sapphire neckace)- I got him a symbolically adopted sea otter (his favorite animal) through WWF and an engraved guitar pick with our wedding date and “I’ll always pick you.” I didn’t want to do anything big since I figured each other would be a good enough gift already!

I’m planning to get my fiance tickets to see his favorite comedian in Vegas

No wedding gift here for either of us.

I got him an engraved flash with our wedding date. He got we a second diamond band, so our gifts are not even close to ‘even.’ In hindsight, I wish I put more effort into the grooms’ gift and got him something he really wanted. An apple watch sounds perfect based on what you described!

We didn’t do gifts day of but we’re doing some small one year anniversary things like getting some wedding pictures framed, maybe a meal out and getting a custom cake (since we eloped and didn’t have any cake). I guess if we really wanted to-we consider our house a gift to both of us from both of us lol
