We had a relaxing day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs, just sipping fruity drinks and laying by the pool. I got a massage, we did the grotto and had fun with the mud.

Both of my girls are from CA (wedding in NC) so we went to a string of gastropubs when I went out to visit.

My girls took me to dinner at a restaurant in a fancy hotel, then we stayed the night and watched Bridesmaids in our room.  A couple more of my ladies joined us in the morning.  We got massages and afterwards they arranged a brunch by the spa pool.  It was perfect.

Haven’t had it yet but I’m not a wild person so I asked my girls for a spa day. It’s what I’m really hoping for!

Myself, those of my BMs who could make it, my aunts, my Mother-In-Law, and my mother all went to my grandmother’s house and had junk food and alcohol, they gave me lingerie, and we chilled in my aunt’s hot tub (she lives with my grandmother). The other part of what we did isn’t one that would appeal to some, but they also each honoured me for things in my life and gave me cards with the honourings and biblical verses then they all prayed over me. I really enjoyed my bachelorette party πŸ™‚ it was like a giant girls night in and I got to spend time with all of the important ladies in my life.

I went away for the weekend and rented a house. Then spent the weekend going to vineyard and brew pubs. We were near Charlottesville VA .

For mine, my girls took me out to dinner at my favourite restaurant, then we pre-drank and played some awesome games at my friend’s apartment (which she had decorated). Then we went out to a few fun bars. Topped the evening off with girly cocktails at a lounge πŸ™‚

I really, really hope that they don’t organise for drinking, strippers, and loads of penis stuff. I can’t stand those things, but my sister might organise it, because she thinks everyone secretly loves that stuff but just won’t admit.

Hopefully we’ll just do laser tag, camping or something. Even just a girls’ night in watching movies and eating junk food would be good πŸ™‚

I’m not a wild person, and it was the day before the rehearsal. This was the first time I’d had all these girls together in the same place since we graduated 5 years ago! We went out for a wonderful dinner and then to a very upscale place for dessert and drinks…then we went back to the hotel room that two of the girls were splitting, and just relaxed, talked, caught up and reminisced. Perfect for me!

When I was a bridesmaid, we took our friend to the Bahamas for 5 nights! We had our own house. It was lovely.

For mine, all I know is that we’re going somewhere warm, I have to go on an airplane, and it is also a bunch of nights. That’s all I got. Couldn’t weedle more info out of the 6 of them.
