Well I haven’t had mine yet since I’m getting married in April, but one of my BMs is a belly dancer and plans on giving us belly dancing lessons at my party. I’m not sure what else they have planned though.

I’ve seen ladies do spa parties as well. If you go out for a night on the town it might be nice to do a little pampering before heading out. Passion parties, scavanger hunts, and weekend getaways seem to be popular too. I’ve even seen people do slumber parties for brides who don’t really drink/party much.

ETA: I’m not really into bar hopping and the typical bachelorette party games so I hope my girls do other out of the box ideas. I think bachelorette games can be embarrassing and I really don’t want to wander around getting guys to buy me drinks. My Future Sister-In-Law had a really pervy older guy who kept trying to buy her drinks all night.

We went wine tasting in the day, then played some mini-golf and then out for dinner/drinks and back to a friend’s house for a party.

I’m having 2 (kind of) my Fiance can’t go to Starscape next year because it’s too close to the wedding and he can’t take off work so I’m calling it my bachelorette party and going with a friend. I’m also going to have a party at home so more people will be able to come along.

We are doing a co-ed thing in New Orleans at the end of this month!  I’m super excited about it…we are doing separate girls & guys all Saturday day/night so we still have that “authentic” bachelorette experience.  My sister (AKA MOH) is planning that so I’m sure that it will be a blast…I do know we ar doing a spa thing in the afternoon and yummy food will be involved because she knows those are 2 of my fave things!  I have been to a bacherorette party where we did a sort of scavenger hunt and that was pretty fun–and I’m not usually into those icebreaker type games.

Haven’t had mine yet, obviously.  My sis is also getting married.  She’s having two bachelorette parties.  One w/ TONS of girl friends that her friends are hosting & another w/ just a few very close girls that I’m hosting.  Her friends are hosting an evening party.  I booked a suite in Las Vegas from Thursday thru Sunday (we all figured an excuse for a mini girls’ getaway).  We plan on relaxing at the pool, having a few yummy meals, getting pampered at the spa, visiting a show, and LOTS of dancing!  We will visit some strip clubs & will also take a pole dancing class.  I am also brainstorming on some fun games, i.e. photo scavenger hunt, etc.  Then a few weeks later, we’re off to Hawaii for her wedding.  SO looking forward to it.

We’ve done Vegas before for a bachelorette party w/ about 20 girls.  It was fun, but omg it was difficult organizing everyone & having to deal w/ $$$.  I wasn’t even hosting it, but I too got frustrated w/ a lot of the girls.  This time there will be less than 10 girls on the trip, so hopefully everything will go smoothly….

Another idea: comedy clubs are fun too!

We went to a vacation resort for the weekend.  Spent time shopping in the little shops, out to eat then to one of the clubs and stayed in a really nice hotel.

From what I gather my girls are planning on wine tasting, a dinner/comedy show thing and then karaoke at the gay bar. Pretty much my ideal bachelorette party!

I am not getting married till next month, but we are planning on going to a local casino and doing slots. Even if I weren’t pregnant the whole bar hopping thing is not my scene so this works perfectly.

I went out for dinner with my Maid/Matron of Honor and BM’s and another BFF beforehand, then we went back to one of my BM’s apartment for a pre-drink, and about 15 other ladies showed up.  From there, we headed down to a bar to dance/drink our butts off 🙂  They had me drapped in a sash & some sort of tacky head-piece, but thankfully there were no tiny plastic penises on me, as per my request 🙂

It was exactly what i wanted, just to have a good time with my girlies 🙂
