My moms best friend got me a custom label that has the wedding date and a light blue heart on it. I am going to sew it into the dress and that will be my something blue. I am also considering blue shoes.

starkravingbride:  I bought blue hair pins from etsy and had my hair dresser conceal them in my hair. I didn’t have any blue in our wedding colors, and didn’t like any of the blue garters I had seen (I ended up with a rhinestone one :)).

I also did blue in my garter. It was ivory lace with a light blue flower ๐Ÿ™‚ I found it on Etsy.

starkravingbride:  My mom made my headpiece/veil (netting, feathers) and dyed a tiny blue feather that she stuck under the rest of them. Easy peasy!  Oh, plus my engagement ring is aquamarine so it was never a real issue to begin with

My wedding is just over three months away and this popped in to my head while I was trying to get to sleep.  Hello over thinking for the next 3 hours!! I figured out my something borrowed (bracelet from my mother), old (original engagement token) and new (rest of the outfit ๐Ÿ™‚ ) but the blue part has me stumped.  I’m thinking underwear ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m wearing a pair of blue silk boy shorts that I bought as part of a set for the first weekend we went away together. It’s sorry of something old and something blue in one:) I just need something borrowed and I’m setย

starkravingbride: I borrowed a beautiful sapphire ring from my aunt. The ring was originally given to her by my grandmother. So, it was my something borrowed, blue, and old!

i think i may have my groom be my “something blue” if i dont figure it out soon! He’s wearing a navy tux, and we have no other blue in our color scheme except for that so i am also having a hard time trying to incorporate blue!
