@totheislnds: No anniversary for me yet, but my goal is to go back to the hotel where we got married, have lots of wine, and have lots of romantic encounters. Maybe I’ll bring my reception dress, haven’t decided.

Boring, I know, but it’s a special place to us.

We planned on going to a ski resort but skipped it.

I was sick, we just spent alot of money on anni gifts/Christmas gifts. So we stayed home rented two movies, had a movie day, bought a small cake to cut, drank out of our wine glasses & ate dinner my hubby bought us.

We did however do lil sweet things for each other. I did a hersey kiss scavenger hunt. He had a clue next to each hersey kiss he found telling him where the next hersey kiss was. Each hersey kiss stood for our first kiss together, first engaged kiss, first married kiss, ect. It was cute & he loved it! πŸ˜›

I did this for the paper part of the gift. (The one year traditional gift.) The red paper/xoxo stickers –

& He bought me the same flowers that was in my bouquet on our wedding day, made me a huge anniversary card(paper gift), rented the two movies(because I was sick) without me even knowing & surprising me with them plus dinner/lunch! I loved it! πŸ™‚

You could rent a cabin, do a wine tasting, anything like that for a weekend get-a-way! I would love to go to a bed & breakfast. I think those are so romantic, in little small towns! πŸ™‚

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: That’s so ridiculously cute. It’ll be nice to have that memento many years down the road. Maybe make it into an anniversary tradition to make a little artwork for eachother.

@StuporDuck: Don’t call your plans boring! I know I just got married, but I was totally thinking of doing the same thing for our 1st anniversary! lol.

Ours is next week and we talked about going upstate or the hamptons for a long weekend. I realized it wouldn’t make both of us happy as one person would end up doing an activity the other likes and the other hates. That type of outing is saved for birthdays. Jokingly I said why don’t we go back to Jamaica. I had hoped we could take a 4 day cruise out of NY as they aren’t too badly priced, but I am more than 21 weeks pregnant and you aren’t alloewd to cruise. So I was shocked when Darling Husband said ok let’s go! Book a trip!! So we are actually going back to Jamaica next week to celebrate and have a babymoon.

He married me again Cool

Darling Husband thinks that we should redo our vows just the two of us every year, somewhere quiet and romantic.  He is so darn sweet like that.

We went to the restaurant that we met at first time. We had dinner, talked everything from the met to the engagement and to the marriage. We really enjoyed this. We also bought gifts each other. Next is our 2nd anniversary, we may have a long trip but don’t make up now.

I created a boudoir photo album for my DH!  He said it was the BEST gift that he had ever received and still talks…and looks…at it regularly!  The process was also a lot of fun for me too!  Who doesn’t like shopping for cute and sexy outfits and getting their hair, makeup, and nails done!?

during our honeymoon, we said we wanted to come back to Jamaica for our anni – but financially its not gonna happen. so i am hoping we can do a weekend or even a night away. maybe somewhere like Niagara Falls as it is really close to us. not sure yet. we are kind of last minute-ers with these kinds of things. i know for some future anni we will do a caribbean vacation, just not sure which one yet!
