My hubby and I got to the honeymoon suite around 1:30am. Then we did the deed.
Then we ordered Jimmy Johns because we both were starving. While we were eating, we decided to open all of our cards and count the money. It was so much fun and one of my funnest memories of the night! So great to spend that quiet time with just my new husband. What did you do on your wedding night?

Counted the money, talked about the people and funny things that happened, showered together, and did the deed.

We went to dinner (we had a Destination Wedding with just us and our sisters) went back to our honeymoon suit, Did the deed, relaxed in the hot tub, watched a movie, did the deed again lol, ate cupcakes and went to sleep.

Went to a bar with all 300 of our guest! lol It was a blast! Then we got to our room, soaked in our hot tub, drank some more wine, and did the deed…twice. Awesome night

We got back to the hotel around 4 (thank you, New Years Eve wedding) pulled all 30000 bobby pins out of my hair, christened the whirlpool 😉 and then counted our money!

Stripped off our wedding clothes, read our cards, counted money, ate leftover wedding food, and passed out. We were so tired!

LOL about counted money comments!
Drove home, sat on front porch with drinks and guestbook, talked about some of our favourite memories of the day for an hour or so.
Took a million bobby pins out of my hair, we showered, you know’d 😉 and then went to sleep around 5am? Family was at our door for 7 to start brunch and start the party again…. (and begin the like 8 hours of gift opening!)

We left the reception at 1:30, went to our room, took all the bobbypins out of my hair, did it and went to sleep.

We opened a ton of cards in a rush because we had to pay the DJ and realized we didn’t know where our checkbooks were, went to a bar across the street with our guests for a beer (I wore my ‘just married’ disney pin), came back to the hotel, ate some of the food from the reception the hotel had delivered to our room, flipped through our photobooth guest book which was hilarious and passed the f out.

We had an after party at a brewery across the street from our venue so we went and hung out there for a few hours. After that my BIL came back to our suite to hang out for what we thought would be just a few minutes but it turned into HOURS. He was obliterated and wanted group hugs the whole time (between the 3 of us). Considering I think I’ve hugged my BIL like twice in the almost 7 years that we’ve been together, it was strange. Then he proclaimed that he was too drunk to walk back to his hotel room so he would just sleep there (in our honeymoon suite) and started to curl up at the foot of the bed. Darling Husband had to drag him back to his room where he apparently climbed into bed with his IL’s who were there to watch our niece, instead of his wife. When Darling Husband got back to our room like 20 minutes later I was fighting off the urge to fall asleep. At this point it was close to 4am and we had to be up and showered for our morning after brunch at 8. Definitely not the wedding night I was expecting, that’s for sure.
ETA: Oh, and I totally ripped open all of those fabulous cards while my BIL was stumbling around our room. That at least gave me a little bit of pleasure, lol.

We went up to our hotel room, I got out of my dress and was supposed to just wait for my sister to go get my car from the church to bring me my overnight bag, decided we had some free time so we did the deed, sister arrived and I got changed, we went out with some of our friends for a couple of hours, came back to the hotel room and had round two of the deed, and then passed out 🙂

- Wedding: September 2011 - Clark Gardens
We stayed in a guest house on the property of our wedding venue with our entire wedding party. So, we partied with them for awhile once the wedding was over, and then went sleep in the fluffiest, most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in. The house itself was sort of open, so we didn’t feel like having sex where people could hear.
We spent the next week alone, in Jamaica, and got caught up then.

Drove home (we live half hourish from where our reception was and I liked the idea of spending my first night as a Mrs. in our own bed instead of a hotel). Got excited about the new tv we found in our living room (thank you large extended family who decided to pool their money). Got good and weird for the first time as husband and wife. Showered, snuggled, contemplated getting wierd again, decided where we were going for our honeymoon the next day (we drove so it didn’t matter), and went to bed.

Went back to the hotel, did the deed, ordered pizza for delivery because we were starving, watched TV and chatted while eating, did the deed again, and then went to sleep. 🙂
