Hello bees! Happy Monday everyone. Just sitting here. I was wondering how everyone’s weekend went? Did you guys do anything special? Mine was okay, not too eventful:
Friday night – stayed home, cooked dinner (tried this baked chicken dish I found online with SO as guinea pig of course LOL) and sat on the couch watching tv all night
Saturday – worked out late morning for almost 2 hours, cleaned the house all afternoon, went to a friend’s birthday party in the evening
SUnday – woke up super late, went to starbucks then went to the mall with SO to pick up his videography gadgets, I bought a Breton shirt on sale (I’ve always wanted one) then went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner
Sorry bees just bored here…LOL…I’d like to hear yours though…

IT WAS MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY OVER THE WEEKEND!!!!
There was so much stress leading up to the event but when it started, it was amazing and so worth it. My family hosted it for my fiancé and me and it was perfect. It was self catered by my family and everyone raved about the food, the decor and my parents very recently finished a home renovation just in time for it.
Even though there was a heat wave and it was hot as balls, It was so perfect.
if it wasn’t for my engagement party, I would say that you had my perfect weekend. Haha.

Mine was busy!
Friday: Went to a Slipknot concert with my Fiance (his friend backed out on him last minute). Not my scene at ALL, but it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to.
Saturday: Bike ride with a friend, farmer’s market shopping, mall shopping for a bachelorette party dress (scored one that was marked down to $20, original price was $90!), then saw The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (Armie Hammer AND Henry Cavill in one movie? yes please!)
Sunday: Saw Straight Outta Compton (SO GOOD), then Costco trip

Friday – Darling Husband and I went a steak fry in a town about 20 miles away. We hadn’t gone there in a long time, but it’s fun and supports a different charity/group each time. They have a variety of meats (chicken, steak, prime ribe, hamburger steak, pork, meatless) available and then a bunch of sides dishes that people from their community usually make. After that, we drove back home and just watched a movie.
Saturday – Cleaned and then went to an afternoon movie with my SIL, her Darling Husband and 2 of our nephews. We saw the Minion Movie, and it was the first moive that our nephews saw in a theater (ages 6 and 3). They managed better than we thought! After that, we just went back to my SIL’s house and ordered in food.
Sunday – Uneventful. It’s usually our laundry day, and if there are no plans to leave… neither of us shower. But, I did laundry, did some research on comfy shoes for a trip coming up, got my clean eating snacks together for the week, and went through my closet to get rid of some clothes I haven’t worn forever. We ordered Chinese for supper and just watched TV.

- Wedding: August 2013 - Wynn Las Vegas
Hola! My weekend was pretty uneventful, which was nice because that doesn’t seem to happen very often.
We have had DH’s parents and sister visiting for 3 weeks (one week until they go back to London) as well as one friend, also from London, who is definitely single and ready to mingle. We live in the ‘burbs, there isn’t THAT much to do. Also, I’m pregnant so I am super tired right now, unmotivated, and none of my clothes fit.
Thursday and Friday nights I played Dear Daughter for my husband and his friend. It was not my ideal night, but I guess it got me out of the house. Meh.
Saturday we had a BBQ/ pool party with family and friends. Its been 100 degrees here, so swimming was nice.
Yesterday I refused to leave the house, and I watched Netflix for the whole day until we went out to dinner. Best day ever!
This Friday coming up SIL and I re going to see Taylor Swift WOO!

Sunday- Watched Mad Men with Fiance then made his lunches for the week and made dinner. Relaxed after dinner with ice cream and cookies!
A great weekend 🙂

Friday we went to a local beachfront restaurant for lunch and then for a swim. On the way home we bought a fresh tuna from a fisherman which we cooked for dinner with friends. We stayed up until 2am playing dominoes.
saturday we had a loooong lie in before eating lunch at a small restaurant (life is very cheap where we live so this weekend isn’t as extravagant as it sounds!) and did a bit of shopping. We saved with friends again on sat but had a quiet night in front of the TV watching revenge – they’ve got me hooked!
yesterday I had to take my dh to the airport an hour’s drive away as he’s gone to deal with some problems with a rental property we have in France. He’ll be gone ten days so I’m binge watching revenge for the rest of the week!!

Friday night – Painted my wedding cake topper, then sober cabbing four men around until 4 am.
Saturday – Took a morning nap, due to late night and went to my family fantasy football draft. I’m the reigning champ! Then me and the Fiance went to dinner at a Hibachi place
Sunday – we to my moms to try on my wedding dresses to figure out which one i’m going to wear, then went to a parade where we sat in the sun and fried. It was my aunt’s birthday who passed away unexpectedly three weeks ago, so wanted to make sure my mom wasn’t alone.
