Listen to pbeat music and be surrounded by family and friends. The best decision I made was having all of my bridal party come to my house to get our makeup and hair done. I feel like this really distracted me and kept me very upbeat.
I will admit that when we go to the church I started freaking out, but since I had 4 flower girls we went into the bridal room and played a game before I had to walk down the aisle.

I was surrounded by my BM’s and Mom, who made jokes, gave me hugs, fanned me (since it was in July), and took several deep breaths. Amazingly though, as soon as my Mom & Dad started walking me down the aisle towards my now hubby all of the nerves disappeared!

I am thinking a couple glasses of champagne and some laughs with my bridesmaids will help… But I will def be ready to party once the ceremony is over- it makes me soooo nervous!

I will probably walk down aisle with my dear friend xanax.

Actually this may be Too Much Information, but my stomach was upset. Once I took something to settle my stomach I was fine. I became anixous and bored when everyone left me in the limo before the wedding began (it was only for about 15 minutes, but it seemed like forever).

My kinda girl!
I fully intend on drinking quite a few mimosas pre-ceremony.

@notevenclose: I am surprised people were nervous. I wasn’t nervous at all. Everything jsut felt so right that morning and I could not wait to walk down the aisle.
Wha wha? I think the majority of people are nervous before walking down the aisle. It’s kind of a big deal. 😉

Champagne! Our venue had set out a bottle for me and the girls and we all downed a couple of glasses before the ceremony started.
But, if you indulge in some pre-ceremony champagne, make sure you have a Maid/Matron of Honor as awesome as mine who grabbed me a piece of gum so my breath wouldn’t be alcohol-y for the first kiss! Just don’t forget to spit it out before you walk down the aisle 😉
