I don’t know about you, but where I live, the high temperature was about 107 on Saturday. In the nearest major city, an hour away, it was 109 at 7:20 in the evening. I couldn’t even wear makeup because it kept melting off my face while I was applying it, lol. My brother, his girlfriend, my mother, my Boyfriend or Best Friend, and I all went to a winery open house, took a tour of a mine, and then went out to a late lunch. The moments we were outside were pretty bad, but our efforts to stay cool were mostly successful. How did you stay cool?

OMG I was in Northern CA this weekend for an OUTDOOR WEDDING and it was like 110 degrees! We couldn’t beat the heat…and the limo had broken AC. There are really no words. Needless to say we didn’t look too glamourous…and I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man haa.

Had the A/C running like a mofo (usually I try not to overuse it). I heard it make some funny sounds yesterday, so I’m cleaning its air filters today. It’s way too early into the season for it to die on us!

Not here. It was 6 this morning, and since our apartment usually gets so hot we had the windows open pretty wide. *brrr*

@whoa_its_ash: OMG! I’m sorry, that sounds pretty unbearable. When I was riding in the car, I kept thinking about how much it would suck if the air conditioning stopped working, lol. I hope you had fun at the wedding anyway!

@MissZeppelin: I am sooo jealous! Where I live we’re heading in to winter! It’s 11am now and 9C outside at the moment 🙁 I’m currently sitting in front of the heater!

@Deejayelle: That’s cold! 🙁 Here, today, it was 40 degrees colder than it was at the same time on Saturday. Crazy!

@MissZeppelin: I live in Northern California too and it was sweltering! Now, I’m originally from the South and can handle the heat but man, the dry heat is almost as bad as the humid heat. My Fiance and I saw a movie and stayed inside with the A/C afterwards!
Today was quite the opposite though, windy and around 69.

I stayed inside most of the time where I had my fans on full blast. And I had the window in my room open. The highest it got by me was about 85.
