I had a normal breakfast–I woke up early-ish, due to excitement, and went down to the hotel breakfast.  My family from Spain were all up and already at breakfast because of their jet lag, so it worked out.

I didn’t really eat lunch.  I had bought a platter of turky wrap slices, and my Maid/Matron of Honor ate some and made me eat one or two slices, but that’s all.

I didn’t really notice it, like I wasn’t fatigued or anything.

mrsfox :  they are so good. We soaked them for a few days & they tasted awesome. Texture was different though- they were gummier/softer

I think I had a bagel and coffee for breakfast, a granola bar for lunch, and for dinner a bite of an appetizer and like half my dinner. But I ate a whole piece of cake! haha

I was so nervous I wasn’t really hungry for lunch, so I forced the granola bar down, and was too busy to eat much dinner at the wedding. I remember thinking how hard it would be to pee in my dress but I didn’t really drink much that day and ended up not even having to pee for the whole wedding… oops! Didn’t even think about it until after. So stay hydrated!

My sister picked up a breakfast spread from Panera – everything from fruit salad to bagels to bfast sandwiches and coffee. I picked at that all day while we were getting ready. Plus someone delivered a bunch of fancy macarons to the getting ready crew. I ate a few of those too.

I was glad I ate all of that because I ended up becoming one of the stereotypical brides who didn’t eat at her wedding. I was having too much fun to ever touch the plate that our coordinator made me!  Oops. And I thought DH was having the caterers pack up a little cheese platter for us to take back to the hotel but instead it was for us to pick up to take on our honeymoon flight. So I was soooo hungry when we got back to our room. 😫 (Don’t be like me!  Eat!)

I was just talking to Mrs. Sixpence about this–we can normally eat quite a bit, but we barely ate a thing on our wedding days. Woops.

I had a latte while getting my hair done, a small plate of finger sandwiches for lunch, a few grapes before our ceremony, most of our 3 course dinner with a couple of rolls, and a small piece of cake. I definitely had low energy an hour before dinner, so I wish I would have forced myself to eat a bigger lunch. My nerves got the best of me and I didn’t have much of an appetite, though.

I echo the advice to stay hydrated!

A homecooked breakfast made by my mama and a few rum and cokes. I barely ate at the wedding, had some samosas and a slice of cake.  Some champagne. We ordered pizza for the wedding night because we were exhausted.

My grandma made coffee cake and biscotti and we had that with coffee and mimosas and bellinis all day. Eventually I panicked around 2 or 3 about not having eaten much and the caterer brought us the most delicious loaded potato salad (which was also served at dinner) and meats/cheeses.

ETA: I barely got to eat dinner – just the sides really – but I had a fat slice of cake and pretty much all of the wine that has ever existed.

We had mini sandwiches, cheese/meat/crackers, fresh fruit and lots of drinks for the bridal party while we were all setting up that morning.

Honestly, not much at all. The only thing I ate before cocktail hour was an iced tea and scone from Starbucks. And a shot of vodka before the ceremony 🙂 I have a sensative stomach so I didn’t want to risk anything!
