For me, trying on the first dresses was very surreal. I couldn’t believe that i was wearing these gorgeous dresses to eventually wear one to marry the love of my life. None of the dresses really made me emotional. None of them made me go holy crap I need to wear this for hours. And I guess I thought I would have that wow I love this dress moment. And I think a big part of it is that I so desparately wanted my FH there to give his opinion. I value it so much that making such a major decision without him is freaking me out.
And by the way OP, you look gorgeous in each of those dresses.

I know this doesn’t answer your question, but wow! Dress #4 looks AMAZING on you!!

OP you look great. i love the last dress. i cant weigh in yet, but wanted to let you know that i am planning on shopping soon and we aren’t getting married til may 2014. i think i want my dress to dictate other details of the wedding instead of letting the theme limit styles i try on, so i want to pick my dress early! 🙂

So entourage does matter huh? 🙂
I agree with you on the actual material of dresses…I didn’t like a lot of them once I got my hands on them.
Hah. That was my reaction on a couple too, except the opposite!!! lol
You’re right. Sometimes the people who affect us the most need to be there during certain times to make them even more worth it. And thank you btw :)!!
Hehe thanks! that one was the only enzoani I tried on..boy does he know dresses! It didn’t feel bridal though….
Thank you sleepy! 🙂 I felt weird wearing those dresses…like a little kid haha. But thanks for the kind words! I guess for me, it’s a matter of having the whole wedding settled before I can go dress hunting…because without that background, I can’t picture myself in a non-existing event…does that make sense? haha.. Please keep me posted on how the experience goes for you and good luck!

I am gettin married next May, and my dress is already purchased. Found it on my first shopping trip too!
My mom and I went to my appointment together, and it was very special for us to share that. But I never had any overwhelming emotions about the dress-buying itself other than general “I look pretty” feelings. That didn’t make it any less amazing though 🙂

Yay!! Congrats girl! I hope you have a wonderful time. See, your wedding is literally less than a year away (freak out!) wheres mine is almost 2 whole wopping years away so…I think the time does make a difference.

Hey thanks! 🙂 You really think so??
Let me know how you pan out with the dress try ons 🙂 and thank you!!! I guess I might lean more towards that Simple Pronovias one than the other lacey/intricate ones (it is cheaper too). hm.

Overwhelmed. I wanted to throw up or cry. Seriously I just wanted to rip it off. But the second dress appointment was much better. haha

Hahah awwww I’m sorry! How come?? Were the consultants not helpful?? It sucks you had such a crappy experience though. I’m glad the second one was better 😉 🙂
I’m having my second dress trial next week, and my mom will be there yayyyyy…but I still can’t buy one 🙁 🙁
