Oh no! did you the islands you stopped at not have the make up you liked?  One thing I forgot to pack was my dark wash skinny jeans.  Minor item but was still annoying when I went to put them on to go sightsee and they weren’t in my suitcase. Gave me an excuse to go shopping in Rome!

It wasn’t our honeymoon, but on a trip to the Bahamas, I forgot my sunglasses (I ALWAYS have sunglasses, and Darling Husband forgot his swim shorts…WTF?  lol  We still laugh about that one.

I forgot to pack extra contacts AND my glasses.  As we were on board our flight to Jamaica I realized I didn’t have any extras of either and  panicked a little! I didn’t end up needing them – thank goodness!!

I forgot a casual pair of shoes! I had knee high boots, I had heels… I had no flip flops or sneakers. I had to buy a pair at the hotel.

I also had to buy a hairbrush at the salon since I forgot mine. An $80 hairbrush. Literally the only place to buy one since the resort was in the middle of nowhere. Eesh.

We went to Mexico and I forgot my bathing suits!  LOL.  As soon as we got to our hotel, we ran out to buy a couple in a nearby shop so we could hit the pool and beach!  Of all the things to forget for a tropical honeymoon!

Underwear. Not intentionally. Not in like a “ooh no underwear on the honeymoon,” thing. I just totally forgot to pack underwear.

We went skiing for our honeymoon with the intention of also hiking or snowshoeing, we BOTH forgot sunscreen, sunglasses, and any form of snowboot or hiking shoe. We had ski boots, summer light tennis shoes, and I had a pair of knee high boots. Oops.

I somehow only packed three shirts for an 11-day trip? I think the problem was I partially packed at home (SoCal), went to the wedding (NorCal), then had a few more hours to finish packing back at home before our flight, so in the few days that passed in between I guess I thought I had done more packing than I thought?

hockeybee0104 :  So funny, us too! We spent two weeks skiing in Colorado. We had tennis shoes, UGGS & ski boots but no “snow boots”. I think it just slipped my mind while packing becuase all the sidewalks in Vail are heated so it’s not often you’re walking through deep snow. We actually ran into people we knew and they invited us to join them tubing one night. We realized going tubing and walking around in the snow would not be good in UGGS so we ran out to the local sporting goods store and bought snow boots. We ended up doing a few other activities where we’d need them, and even though we don’t live in a snow prone area I’ve gotten a good amount of use out of them.

I typically always fly with my passport, even domestically, because it’s just faster at security. On our honeymoon, since we stayed domestic, for some reason I only flew with my drivers license. I ended up losing it and had to have my dog-sitter overnight me my passport so I had an ID to fly home with.

Not on my honeymoon, but on a recent trip to San Diego, I had changed out my purse and didn’t put my birth control pills in my new purse. That could be a huge deal on a honeymoon to a remote location unless you’re planning on baby making. Luckily for me, I was able to get a refill picked up at a Walgreens nearby so it wasn’t a huge deal…but it could have been a mood killer had I not been able to get a refill.

I forgot any sort of bra aside from sticky boobs and a bandeau. So I looked pretty ridiculous wearing nice dresses with a casual bandeau. And turns out sticky bras don’t stick when its humid and you are sweaty lol.
