I bought them all a coach wristlet and a massage. They seemed to enjoy it!

Buttercup014:  You’re probably going to get some comments about how anything wedding-related isn’t considered a gift, but I consider the hair and makeup to be a gift if you didn’t require that your BMs get their hair or makeup done.

I paid for my BMs’ makeup since they wanted it done professionally. I gave each girl a pocket mirror from Etsy as well. And I gave each Bridesmaid or Best Man something different depending on what they like. I had 6 BMs.

  1. yoga towel & yoga mat cleaning spray
  2. magnetic cell phone holder that you can attach on your car vent & nail polish set
  3. magnetic cell phone holder that you can attach on your car vent & lottery tickets
  4. tile coasters of Batman, Catwoman, Joker, & Harley Quinn
  5. Gadget to help preserve your wine after the bottle’s been opened & a wine glass that doubles as a measuring cup
  6. a workout tank that says “Look like a Beauty, Train like a Beast”

Buttercup014:  Each girl is getting a Kate Spade makeup bag with the following inside – each to their scent/color favorites:

– nail polish

– lip balm

– nail file

– toe separator

– loccitane hand cream

– a piece of jewelry personally to her taste. One has a big neon chunky necklace, one kate spade jewel studs, one a doctor who necklace, etc.

Here’s the bag:

I bought all of my girls the folliwng: robes, earings, a bracelet, $100 towards their dresses & gold things to change into for the reception.  I then bought them personalised gifts to the value of $50 such as a digital photo frame, wine glasses with charms, body scrub and face creams, adult colouring books and pencils, a beautiful silk scarf and some beautiful tea cups with some fantastic tea. I am also paying for their tans, makeup & hair for the big day.

The boys all got some really expensive leather shoes, a leather belt, a tie, $100 off their suits, a cigar in a nice box and we are getting them all an NFL jersey.

Buttercup014:  Thank you! My budget was $75 max each, and I was able to stick to it, and come in around $65 for each. I checked out sales and used coupons at stores that I knew would have what I wanted and picked up everything piece by piece.

– Kate Spade bag- $24 at the outlet, lip balm – $2, nail files- $1, toe thingies- $1, lotion- $9, nail polish, $8.50, jewelry- between $15-35 each. I got all of the beauty items on sale by using tons of coupons or buying at outlets.

Buttercup014:  You’re going to do something great! A few gifts I’ve gotten as a Bridesmaid or Best Man I loved and still use: a black coach wristlet, a pearl drop earring and necklace set (not for the wedding), a very nicr and sturdy monogrammed canvas bag, a water bottle. Gifts I don’t use: a painted/monogrammed champagne flute (afraid to wash it, but it’s on display), a necklace that simply was not my taste (all girls got the same. Not meant to wear at wedding but when everyone else did I went along because it looked weird- have never worn again).

Buttercup014:  Haha, nope! I’m not that talented to make my own gifts. I got the wine glass from Amazon and the shirt and tile coasters from Etsy. I absolutely love the coasters. The seller custom makes them and was very nice about making a tile of any picture you send her.

My Bridesmaids:

• Jewlery in her style (a black geometric necklace, a thin minimalist gold neckalce, and a dainty gold necklace with a CZ rose cut – all from Etsy).

• Small copper box.

• Sleek gold coat hanger.

• Handcrafted cocktail mixer.

• Mini bottle of bourbon (wedding is in Louisville, Kentucky – we’re all bourbon fiends here).

• A coupe cocktail glass.

My Bridesman:

• Fancy beard grooming kit.

• Copper hair messager.

• Small copper box.

• Handcrafted cocktail mixer.

• Mini bottle of bournbon.

• A coupe cocktail glass.

Buttercup014:  Robes and paying for their hair / makeup is a great gift. One of my friends I was a bridemaid for paid for my hair / make up, and I really enjoyed it.

I am taking care of the hair/makeup so no one is left out.  So far I have gotten some super soft robes I’m having personalized.  I am probably getting these really cute fun sparkly silver clutches, a mini bottle of champagne, and some lip balm.  I was thinking of getting a gift card to Ulta/Sephora for my maid and matron of honor as well.
