FutureMrsA2020 :  Congratulatoms! Have a fun time celebrating!

It’s not still Valentine’s day here (UK) here now but I’m.an insomniac so being bad and scrolling on my phone. We don’t normally celebrate and D.H left for work at 5 but I woke up to a bundle of the mini chocolate bars we gave as wedding favours. He must have looked back through our photos as I know he wouldn’t have remembered. He bought them and wrapped them in a bow.

My best friend got a new £1200 Givenchy bag so she didn’t understand why my husband had spent approx £15 on me. She actually asked if i was angry with him. I’d have been pissed off iif he’d spent £1200!

sassy411 :  I love this! I’m not personally a big fan of birds (I had a parrot land on my face once, it was a whole thing…) but I think it’s a very sweet thought as a gift for someone who would like to have one.

I haven’t got it yet, but I know FH bought me a fancy watch. He let it slip that he’d got a “little something” for me. The only thing we’ve been talking about at all was a wristwatch, and after like 2 years we finally agreed on one we both liked. I don’t much like surprises, so it’s just as well he’s lousy at keeping a secret.

we both actually forgot what day it was!!

We are both currently working a trade show and time/dates have blurred into one big mess,

One of the guys at work asked ‘what are you guys up to for valentines day’ We both slack jawed turned around to each other and just laughed.

We ordered Sushi Train and gorged on the couch, excellent v-day.

My sweeeet husband stayed home to drive me to an important meeting (we have been having snow storms and my car isn’t snow ready).  A card, dinner from my favorite restaurant, and what more could I ask for?!

I am really not a fan of Valentine’s Day so we really don’t do much. He will usually buy me tulips which are my favorite flower. This year he is out of town and I actually forgot that today is Valentine’s Day. I realized what day it was when I walked into my office and saw the most amazing orchid arrangement. It is so beautiful. It warmed my heart to think that he planned this before he went out of town.

A card, a small box of chocolates, and time with my favorite guy 🙂 He also stayed home with the baby cause she’s sick, so that’s pretty romantic! We don’t do big gestures but we really enjoy the small things we do for each other.

  • Wedding: September 2020 - Summer Camp!

We were going to make sushi but ran out of time and ended up going out for it. Luckily it wasn’t too busy since we went early-ish. No gifts because I’m not really about them for Valentine’s day/we’re trying to lose a little weight for our engagement photos. We did get some special treats for our dog though!

DappledDuchess :  Adorable. Maybe I think it’s adorable as it’s something that’s right up my alley. After I had my first baby, my husband went to McDonalds to get me french fries. I never eat them bc I know they aren’t good for me…. but wtf, I just had a baby and I love fries… so he got me a large size one! Bliss! I knocked those suckers back with a Diet Coke too! ps- I think you are me 😉

My husband I just bought a house, so we are more than a little tight this year money wise. I am cooking him a nice dinner and he brought me home some flowers from Costco. He also bought me some really nice cookies (and he hid them from the kids so we don’t have to share them!)
