What did you get your bridesmaids for Christmas?

Since I assume the wedding is still a while off, this would be a fun time to get them something they can use for the duration of the planning process. Maybe gift certificates to a favorite bar you all like, or to a nail place. Those bridesmaid wine glasses are cute. My husbands brother got everyone monogrammed yeti can coolers and they were a HUGE hit. Something they can use now and also bring to the bachelorette and wedding.

leelee93 :  Please don’t do this. Don’t make Christmas about your wedding.

If you want to buy your friends an xmas present then do so but make that present about them personally and not about your wedding or being a bridesmaid.

leelee93 :  You literally said you want to get them bridesmaid-themed Christmas presents. That is totally making Christmas about your wedding. Come on.

leelee93 :  You said a “bridesmaid gift” so how is that not about your wedding? Your wedding and Christmas are two separate events. As I said if you want to buy your friends a gift because they are great friends who support you then do so but it should be a gift chosen for them individually (so to their taste/style/interests) and not a “bridesmaid gift”.

Nothing because we don’t do gifts.

If you and your friends regularly exchange gifts for Christmas, then you would carry this on as normal. Them being bridesmaids has no bearing on Christmas. A gift of appreciation for being part of your wedding can be given on or just before your actual wedding day.

Skip the Christmas gift and wait until you get them their gifts before the wedding.  No need for a Christmas gift, unless you normally exchange gifts with them.

leelee93 :  I think it’s sweet you want to do this but maybe rethink why it needs to be a bridesmaid related thing.

leelee93 :  to answer your question- I only got 3 of mine gifts because one is my sister and the other two I always have an exchange with. I just got them things I would normally get which were not too exciting this year.. I am planning on doing gifts for the wedding in the spring but still thinking about good ideas..

If you want to get them something cute they’d maybe use for the wedding.. Maybe a pretty makeup bag with lip gloss inside? Or a gift certificate to a nail salon or nail polish seems like a good idea… That’s all I’ve got for now 🙁
