I’m looking for ideas of what to get my groom for our wedding day…looking for some different options, as I haven’t found that perfect gift yet.
Thought I’d reach out to the hive to see if anyone had some great ideas to share.

Myself. Lol. I didn’t see the need to give a gift- didn’t really know it was a thing! Our rings were the sentimental physical representations of the wedding so that was sufficient for us 🙂 but some options might be: cologne, cuff links, something engraved and personalized like a wallet maybe or key chain. What are his hobbies?

I did a boudoir photoshoot and gave him a fancy photo album with the pictures in it. The first page of it also included a letter I wrote to him.

Mine was kind of a selfish gift because I will definitely benefit as well: I got us 3 nights in a suite at the Ritz for the night before, the night of, and the night after our wedding.

Boudoir pics and a watch are currently at the forefront for me, but I’m hoping there’s a great option that I haven’t thought of yet!
Maybe an excursion while we’re on honeymoon.
Thanks for the input ladies, these are some great options you’ve listed!

I got him a pair of custom cufflinks with photos of our cats.

Mellybobelly : I gave my Darling Husband money to buy an acoustic-electric guitar because I know that he has been wanting one but won’t spend the money to get one. He had mentioned in the past that he’d want to pick his own out so I gave him the amount I was willing to spend and told him it was specifically for that. He bought one finally about two years after we’d been married lol.

We’d decided in advance just to do something small- I symbolically adopted a sea otter (his favorite animal) for him and got him a personalized guitar pick from Etsy since he plays guitar.
Then he of course forgot that I’d even mentioned doing something small and got me a sapphire necklace, so…

A bag of cheese straws from the bakery 🙂 haha

There are some really nice personalized cufflinks on Etsy. You can get the date of the wedding and your names or even go as personalized as a picture like someone mentioned above. And he can wear them after the wedding.
Or a watch with an engraving on the back.

- Wedding: October 2019 - Chateau Lake Louise
We have been kind of obsessed with bathymetric charts* for a while. When we were shopping to furnish our house we had our eye on one, but didn’t have a body of water we felt particularly attached to.
We’re getting married at Lake Louise, so I am getting that and giving it to him. This one is also a bit for me too, since it’ll hang in our house as art.
*a bathymetric chart is a 3-d representation of the various depths of a body of water

I got him a new golf bag, and I got it embroidered with his initials, our wedding date and a special phrase I say to him. The bag is black and the embroidery is black, so it’s very discrete.

I got him a go pro and and he made an awesome video of our honeymoon!

I’m a designer so I made him a poster of a map of our first home. I also got him a book and a couple of board games. We got married on our anniversary, so we doubled up.
