I am amking it a goal this month to have wedding gifts purchased for everyone in my wedding party, and our mom’s. I’ve figured out everything for the two girls, but am stuck on what to get for our moms. I know a part of my gift to my mom will be an engraved frame that will be for both of my parents (we already got my dad a personalized swiss army knife). Both are hard to shop for!
I’ve been searching Etsy for ideas and everything that comes up are necklaces. I’m good with that (if I decided on a couple different options), but want to see what others have done.

my mom paid for my shower so I gave her a nice engraved frame for that. for the wedding I bought both my mother and Future Mother-In-Law customized hangers for their dresses. I also got my mother a personalized handkerchief and left it up to Fiance to get his mother another gift if he wants to.

I got my mom a bracelet and a necklace ( pearl set) which I bought before I knew what she was wearing ( totally doesnt match ) lol but oh well she can wear it another time! I am also going to get her a cute vera bradley lunch tote, paying for her my SIL and sister to all get mani pedis the day before the wedding. I probably will put a nice picture in a picture frame too. She paid for my shower which was a restaurant for like 50 people. So i def want to give her a nice gift.
I got my Mother-In-Law a pearl bracelet
Dads are both getting engraved cufflinks.

I got them embroidered personalized hankerchiefs a la what you see on Pinterest, but of course they’d never seen such a thing and absolutely loved them. We also got our parents a canvas wedding print of their side of the family as well as a photobook of wedding photos.

I got her a gorgeous unique pearl necklace that is along the lines of my wedding colors, which luckily is something I think she’ll love! Which, I guess re-reading your post is what most people are doing… haha whoops creative fail on my part! 😉 My dad doesn’t really like gifts, so I’m writing him a heartfelt letter and might get him a frame with a picture of he and I in it from when I was little.

I just got them a nice card and after the wedding we made our parents a nice wedding album. They loved it

Etsy has some beautiful necklaces that say “thank you for raising the man of my dreams”. So sweet!

I bought my mum a silver, drusy a day blue topaz pendant and white gold and blue topaz earrings to wear on the day (her outfit was silver with subtle hints of pale blue in her hat so they complemented it nicely). Then my OH and I bought my parents tickets to La Boheme; I’ll be going with them and will also treat them to dinner and champagne. They contributed a lot of time and money and so we wanted to get them something nice.
We didn’t get anything for FMIL; it’s complicated but we had our reasons (namely being the immense stress she caused and the fact she wasn’t originally invited and was only invited in the end in a bid to minimise her crazy behaviour)

I wanted them to have something to open at the rehearsal, so I got each set of parents a custom print of our engagement pictures to display in the house. I got them each their own wedding album for Christmas. All were from Shutterfly.

We’re doing embroidered handkerchiefs for both moms from this seller: https://www.etsy.com/shop/linenwhites?ref=l2-shop-info-name (just received them – came out absolutely lovely!), as well as a card. I’ve been struggling to think of something to present at the rehearsal, as well as a gift for the (step)dads, but in all honesty I think I’m just going to keep it simple for the sake of my sanity.

For the women we bought jewelry that matched their individual personalities. For the guys though, they are all outdoors people be it sailing, hiking, or camping. Thus, we’re getting a nice Osprey daypack for all of them. We figured they would rather have something they can use than sentimental!

Future Mother-In-Law loves corny sentimental things, so I’m getting her a “thank you for raising the man of my dreams” hanky from Etsy. I think for my mom, I will get a really nice frame and a photo of us from my shower, along with a bracelet or earrings to wear on wedding day.
