My gifts weren’t terribly creative–each got a different color of pearl earrings, and I paid for nails and hair.  I had thought of making them clutches, but the first one I made looked only ok, and I decided I didn’t want to kill myself to give them sub-par gifts…

I screen-printed t-shirts for the entire Wedding Party that said “Team Dreeben” (The New Last Name)…there’s a DIY by Mrs. Lemon somewhere on WeddingBee. I ordered them each a necklace off of Etsy that went with the wedding theme, stocked a tote-bag with stuff like band-aids, medicine, hairspray, lotion, kleenex, etc. and packed flip-flops for reception dancing. (: Hope that helps!

I just finished making up the bridesmaids presents. Got them a necklace and pearl earrings to match the wedding theme and then added something a little bit more personalised to each bridesmaid, then put it in a gift bag of there favourite colour with some tissue paper and a calligraphy thankyou note. Simple but think it should be nice.

As well as the jewellery to go with my bridesmaid’s dress I am buying her a watch, which will be engraved underneath with thanks from me and H2B.

I wanted to get her something practical but had some meaning without being overt

I have so far snagged:

 –  some little cotton robes (short sleeves, short length) on clearance for 1.99.  I will probably have their names or initials put on them.

 – a set of pretty reuseable shopping type bags

 – a blingy ring to match the dresses

 – DIY flip flops with ribbon and bows

 – DIY Tank tops to have their title or something cute…

I think I’ll probably add some day-of essentials like hair clips, gum, a few waters and some snacks, to the bag.  I’m also considering making some simple necklaces with pearls and crystals on a sterling chain.  That part depends on the fundage.  Total cost so far is $12.00 per girl.  With the extras: about $15 and with the necklaces: $30

I bought each of my girls a Vera Bradley jewelry roll, and filled it with the jewelry I purchased for them to wear on the wedding day.  All of the jewelry was pearls and silver, but it was different depending on the girl’s personality.  I also bought navy blue button-downs and on clearance at TJ Maxx so they would all match while we were getting ready.

The jewelry rolls were super popular, and I think they all really liked that the necklace, bracelet, earrings, and cocktail ring all matched their personalities!

I only have three so I was able to spend more on each girl than if I had a larger wedding party.  I got them each Swarovski jewelry.  One is getting earrings, one a necklace, and one a ring.  Not to wear to the wedding, though, since I am really letting them all do their own thing.

I only had one Bridesmaid or Best Man and it was my Maid/Matron of Honor. I gave her a matching journal and tote bag from Vera Bradley. My sister loves purses and has been wanting a VB tote for some time so I had to get it for her. She also likes to write in a journal so it was a no brainer for me. Oh and I also purchased flip-flops for her for the night.

i got them each necklaces from etsy that have each of our birthstones on them (we’re sister and sister-in-laws so it’s a sister necklace). i also painted them planters at a paint your own pottery store because they both like gardening and i’m having a garden wedding. I wrote “everything grows with love” and put animals that they like on them.

I plan on going with 100% Etsy…I don’t know what I would do without that site!

I had two BMs, both with unusual names. I worked with a shopkeeper on etsy to make them each personalized stationary, and recipe cards for one of them (she’s a chef). For the other Bridesmaid or Best Man, we’ve been friends since kindergarten, and when we were little we would write letters back and forth. I kept them all and included them with her gift. I wrote a special message to each of them describing how important they are to me and why I got them these gifts.

They really liked them, and referred to them when they were doing their toast.

I LOVED the gift baskets I put together for my best friends wedding – they were really reasonable in price.

We found some really cute plastic bath baskets at Pier One and filled them with yummy things from Bath & Body Works – each basket was a different “flavor” of product and color – we also put in other things to use to relax and pamper yourself.  I want to say that each basket was well under $30.
