Hey Everyone Curious what you guys decided on for your wedding band…
Did you get a simple one ?
Did you get an extravagent one?
Why / Why not?
Do you wear both rings or just the wedding band?
Thanks guys 🙂

I knew after shopping I didn’t want diamonds. (Love them just not for the wedding ring). but a solid plain band wasn’t enough for me. So I got one with a design on it.

I don’t think mine is simple or extravagent. I got the band that matched my ering. I actually had my eye on the band way before I even knew Darling Husband was thinking about proposing so it worked out 🙂
I wear my rings together, but I don’t plan on wearing my ering daily in the future when we have kids.

Here’s mine. It was difficult at first to find a ring that would compliment it since it did not have a matching band, but I think it looks great

Sapphire eternity band. I wear my e ring with this.

@redheadem: If you don’t mind me asking, what mm is your band? I realllly want a stack of 1 mm bands but SO thinks they will be too thin. Is that a 2 or less? Thanks!

I got a pave band that is just slightly thicker than my e-ring band:
1.5 and 2mm, respectively. Simple but sparkly 🙂

I went with simple / plain in a different metal (rose gold). I love looking at all the sparkly rings, but they’re not right for me.

I went with a plain yellow gold 2mm band. My ering (on my right hand in the picture) is large and in charge, and I didn’t want to take away from it. I also run 4-5 days a week and am always playing with my son, so a simple band was a much more practical choice. So far, I’ve been wearing the band by itself most days around the house and adding the ering when I go out.

@aalliep: your ring is exatly the type I think I am looking for 🙂

I got a diamond band (it is actually 7 diamonds set into a white gold band)
I wanted a thick band as I find those more comfortable and I just loved this band when we saw it. I wear it together with my engagement ring, but I actually stack them the ‘wrong’ way around (they are the ‘right’ way in this picture though). I like the idea of being able to wear it on its own sometimes. My engagement ring is an heirloom ring so we had more of a budget for my wedding band than if we’d bought my engagement ring too.

I got a plain band because it matched my ering, was a travel-friendly choice, and I needed something low and comfortable when not wearing my high-set ering.
