I have a BA in English with a minor in Psychology. I’m currently working as an instructional designer, so my degree does loosely relate to some of the business writing I do.
I’m currently in grad school for Technical Communications, which is more related to my work experience.

@maloussii: BS in Psychology
No job has related to my degree. It was a total waste of money (40k).
I ended up in payroll, making ends meat.

Holy crap! It is SO wrong that they got away with all that just because of the sheer size and resources of the institution. I’m so sorry. It’s times like these when you just have to hope that karma will strike back.

My replacement lab turned out to be really fun and I learned a whole buch of stuff that is more applicable to what I’m actually doing than O-chem is. So at least I got a good experience out of it eventually.

BS in supply chain management. My job is in logistics which is part of my degree. I wish I had an internship so I could have gone into the purchasing or materials planning side because I could have made double what I make

I majored in English, minor in Multimedia Journalism. And I’m still working at the same job I held before college. There aren’t a lot of jobs around here that I could get without experience (and of course they won’t hire you without experience, but you can’t get much experience if you can’t get hired…), and I’m not ready to move three hours away to get a job. But I’m not looking very hard either, so that makes a difference.
I’m currently taking online classes to get an Accounting degree, so maybe someday I’ll be done with school and find a job that I went to school for.

I have a BA in “liberal studies” (concentration: social sciences) and a Masters in social work. Was planning to work in child welfare, but fell in love with working in addiction. Had to take a bunch of extra classes post-MSW to be able to do that, which sucked but oh well. I work as a counselor in outpatient drug treatment, so I definitely use my education everyday.
