I wanted to be a vet for the longest time.  Then I realized how many other people also want to do that so I opted for something a little more off the beaten track and went with Wildlife Biology.  Of course, now I’m thinking about teaching…guess I’m not grown up yet.  🙂

i thought i would be a vet too!! ( ha, well only for dogs, that is ) then i realized that they took care of other animals and that i could never handle anything in the medical field… too squeamish!! also going to vet school, or any medical school for that matter…i have the utmost respect for those students, they are all so brilliantly focused! i think i’m in the right career!

When I was in elementary school I had 2 ideas of what I wanted to be. Either I would be a school crossing guard or an archeologist. I was a very strange child. I ended up majoring in Communications in college and now I’m job searching!

I wanted to be a geologist (parents do that), chef (I’m always loved cooking/baking) or architect (I like designing stuff). Later on, I wanted to be an engineer and I’m on my way to becoming one!

Hehe, a vet or a paleontologist.  Turns out, though, science really isn’t my forte!

I thought I would be a doctor, ended up as a lawyer.

I don’t know if I could have handled being a doctor, with all those bodily fluids. I certainly could have handled the money though!

I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. That’s what my mom is. However much I love kids, trying to teach them is just NOT a fun job to me. Let me entertain them, give them fun stuff to do, take them to the zoo, but try teaching them what 7 x 6 is, and you have a totally different atmosphere. Ugh.

I edit a small newsletter right now and would like to continue in the publishing field.

Growing up, I wanted to become a marine biologist.  When I learned that a good chunk of time is spent grant writing in order to support the field work (i.e. fun stuff!), my attention shifted to something more creative.  Luckily, being on the coast, I’m able to get my feet wet whenever I get the urge!

I always thought I would be a newspaper reporter. I still think I may just switch careers and do it

I was going to be a vet, lawyer, doctor depending on what day it was.  Now I’m an insurance agent and have no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life!
