(Closed) what did you use as a centerpiece base?

I kinda lucked into this but I’m planning to use really old sheet music books. I’m worried they may not be big enough (about 7×10) but I think it’ll be okay if everything doesn’t fit directly on them.

What sort of theme/decorations/formality level are you planning? You could do pieces of fabric that you can scrunch up to give some texture. Cheap and easy to get in any color.

i used fabric squares. I bought them for 5 bucks each on etsy. you can see a corner of it in this picture

We got some really nice round, woven placemats to use as bases.  They were only $1 or $2 each (can’t remember exactly how much, but cheap!) and we’ll use them all again after the wedding.

Do you have access to a chainsaw and someone who knows how to use it? haha this would be super cheap and easy and fit right in to your venue/wedding!

you could do a bed of spanish moss around the base of all your pieces – just throwing ideas out there
