(Closed) What did you use as your seating chart?

Do you mean to make the seating chart during planning, or displayed at the reception?  We’re just making one using poster board and post-it flags for the planning process.  At the reception we have escort photo coasters (will double as favors) with the names and table number, layed out on a table at the entrance.

There are some online programs that the Bee’s have used but I also saw someone use paper plates to represent the tables and stuck on post its that could be moved around until they had the desired seating arrangements. Thought it was clever!

We’re not doing assigned seating, but we are doing assigned tables. I’m planning to buy plywood, sand & paint it with chalkboard paint, and then frame it. Kind of like this.
