I wanted to be a vet from about Grade 4 to 11. Then I did a work experience there and it was way too sad for me. 🙁 I’m an engineer now.

I had no idea. It always botheed me how everyone seemed to know what they wanted to be when they grew up while I was clueless.

I wanted to be an astronaut AND chemist AND airline stewardess… all at the same time.  I had high aspirations for my husband as well.  He would be a part time cowboy, and part time in the military, and would also build me a huge 3 story log cabin by himself.

No idea where any of that came from, honestly… it was all in a story I wrote when I was little.  I was an odd child.

I wanted to be a nurse or vet. My dad had me spend time with my uncle who was the only large animal vet in a tri-county rural area. I was more interested in the social aspect of school and had my daughter, so no nursing school for me.

Wow!  Madonna.  A rock/pop star.  A preacher.

What a cute, break up the wedding monotony question.  Seriously.  Thanks!  Smiles

Marine biologist. Also, librarian. I now have a BS degree in Environmental Science, concentration in Marine & Coastal Resources and four years experience in agricultural and marine bio labs. Hoping to find a good grad school to go back for an MS in Environmental Science or Biology and get a “grown-up job” in research. Never became a librarian, but I still read a lot! 🙂

I went from Olympic gymnast (4-8), flight attendant (8-11), psychologist (11-14) and then attorney from 14+. I just took my last law school exam, so it looks like I’ve found my place.

A Ballerina, Teacher (like my mom), or Lawyer (like my grandma). When I was really little I wanted to be a plumber because my grandma had a big house with eight bathrooms and the plumber came over once and had us run from bathroom to bathroom flushing all the toilets. I thought it was so much fun it became my dream job 😉

First, I wanted to be a jockey…but I was too tall well before being out of elementary school.  Then, I wanted to train horses (having never owned an animal…even a fish…this was going to be a pretty big feat).  By the time I was in high school, I wanted to be a flautist in an orchestra.  I stuck with that one through the first two years of college, where I studied music…but then switched over to journalism (where I am now).

I wanted to marry Batman.

I’m so glad that didn’t work out. DH is a much better fit for me than Batman ever could have been. LOL
