Peaceoutboyscout: Oh man! When I was like 4 I wanted to name everything Rose. I had a cat named Rosey and we had a dog named Contessa Marie Rose Duboit. Now, I’m not even a big fan of roses. I don’t like them being given to me, only enjoy them in gardens. I WOULD never name my child that.

Oh, and Elvis. I was a BIG Elvis fan. Yikes… Can you imagine saddleing a kid with that one?!

But when I turned about 10 I decided that I wanted to name my daughter Olga Alexandria, Lex as in Luthor for short, after my Grandmother. I have her first name Olga, but really want to use her full name.

27 and married now. Still plan on using that name.

My highschool ex wanted to name our future daughter Aeris from Final Fantasy. Alas, it didn’t work out for us so hopefully whoever he ends up with is on board with that…

I never really had a name for my future offspring in mind as a kid–maybe Liz though because when I was learning cursive I loved how that named looked.

My favorite name was Elizabeth (still true); my second name as a kid was Melissa. I named my first goldfish Elizabeth Melissa, the next Melissa Elizabeth. the next Elizabeth Melissa, etc.

My fiance’s daughter’s name is Elizabeth, and I adore her! It’s perfect!

When I was younger (and thought twins were SOOO common because I knew just 2 sets) I was dead set that my future set of boy/girl twins would be named Trinity and Trey…

I’m thankful I grew out of that, the name Trey is still cute, but other names have a lot more meaning to me now. We’re currently TTC so there’s been some serious conversation about names lately.

Girls: Lucreciah, Vada
Both i’m pretty sure I heard on Maury LOL

Boys: Wade
Still like this name. But I had a boss named Wade once I was old enough to get a job, so that has kind of ruined it for me.

Those girls names though… uh.. not happening lol.

I REALLY wanted to name my future son, Christopher. Then call him Toph for short. My best friend’s new Fiance is named Christopher. We like him a lot, but we don’t want our child to share names with anyone we know. Also, we really want to have our children to have short names, so that they actually get called by their first name, and not a nick name (like both of our names).

For a girl, I honestly never pictured myself having a girl, so I didn’t have one picked out!

I wanted Avery for a girl and Aidan for a boy. I’m not a fan of either of them now, especially Aidan.

I have one Dirty Delete now named Riley, and another baby on the way. I have no idea what we’ll name baby #2!

Persephone for a girl and Artemis for a boy. Yes, I realize that Artemis is a goddess, but I was a big fan of the Artemis Fowl books (where Artemis is a boy) and I always thought it sounded better as a boy’s name, haha.

Wesley and Buttercup. Yes, huge huge PB fan. We just found out we’re having a girl and because we love her and because we’re not crazy, we’re going to save that name for our next puppy or something.
